I just dread the day when in RPGs you only get the basic armor and have to buy anything else. Probably will never happen, but I won't encourage it all the same.

Same here. I'll pay for actual content that affects the story, i.e. missions and squadmates, but not weapon and armor packs.

I actually own ME2 on both 360 and PS3. It's one of my favorite games - I just felt like supporting it.

I bought ME1 on PC, beat it.....then rebought ME2 and all ME2 DLC on PC immediately after.

For whatever it's worth, I got the alternate appearance pack that included Thane's alternate appearance, and I thought it was a waste of money. It's really cool, but I don't stare at Thane all day while playing ME2. Occasionally I stare at Garrus, but I find I like him better in his trademark blue anyway.

You can get huge games on sale on Steam some days for the price of an ME2 alternate appearance pack. Srsly.

Sadly agree. I bought it and went "Ohhhh, cool!" in the squad screen, then switched Thane back to his regular appearance anyway.

I also liked the EC. I just wanted another scene with Liara, the Catalyst dialogue to make sense, and the choices to actually make a difference.
