Why do People like Garrus so much?

Why the hostile answer? I just gave my opinion. Saying what you would have done is not giving you crap.
Also what Tali did you have? Did Cerberus or the Geth never come up in a conversation with her? And Garrus doesn't exactly flip out if you stop him. Zaeed does that.

for example, another person just did it, taking up QUATER OF THE PAGE. i just want them to not be lazy and write out the 4 words so only 1/64th of the page is taken up instead.

Going off the beaten path a bit to address the "attractiveness" bit - strictly speaking, Garrus does have the physical characteristics that are generally considered attractive in human males: broad shoulders, V-shaped torso, narrow hips, and a deep voice. As a lady Garrusmancer myself, these things were appealing, but moreso was the "best friend whom I can utterly trust" thing he had going on.

..."best friend whom I can utterly trust" is kind of the selling point on me liking him in general, too. He and Tali stick with Shepard through everything. I mean, trusting someone enough to follow them into working with a terrorist organization? When said organization has an agenda promoting a race that isn't your own? How much more loyal can you be?

He's a home boy. Always has Shepard's back. Plus he's Shep's protege, at least in my eyes. Plus, "Harkin's a bloody menace." I don't know why but that line always sticks in my head, I'm weird I know.

Well I love him because he reminds me so much of myself. I remember first meeting him in the Citadel, in ME1. He was just so frustrated with all the ****ing rules. He hates bureaucracy, he's a man of action, his moral compass is very simplified. I mean I'm basically describing myself here people. I just love him to bits.

I've always looked up to him. He's my brother and my friend. He's got a great sense of humor yet he can still be serious. He takes hit after hit but shrugs it off because other people need him. He's just such a badass mother****er, it's insane! Great character.

I would go so far as saying that he's the best written character of them all. It's really interesting to see what other peoples relationship is with him. I see him as a renegade buddy. I play paragon but when I need to vent, I usually go to him because I can always trust him to be honest about the situation. Some other people however, see him as a dude who treats Shepard as a mentor, almost as a big brother taking care of his younger brother.

Damn good character, my favorite of them all.

Along with Mordin, Thane and Legion. Honorary mention goes to Jack, Liara and Miranda.

Dw mate, i didnt mean it to be so hostile, im just annoyed that people are wasting space with these ridiculus quote pyramids instead of just writing what they say.

But I agreed with tali on the geth and cerberus: i see why she doesnt trust them, i dont either, and i appreciate why she wants the geth to die (i did too at first).


And i actually actively disliked Zaeed, i just wasnt bothered about garrus.

If you read my OP im asking why people like him. I didnt dislike him at all. I stated that twice

And im snapping at the 'he is my bro' guys because their pysramids are taking up a quater of the page rather than just writing the 4 words out.

As i said earlier, im starting a femshep playthrough to romance him to see if that makes me attune to him more.

I'm not trying to be mean because you do deserve some respect regarding your thread but reading this reminded me of the Salarian on Surkesh when Shepard kept playing with his computer. Laugh it will feel better Image IPB
