are there are differences at the end love scene, (before cerberus station) between a brand new romance with ash, a fairhful me1 romance, and a cheat on bit rekindled romance? i noticed this with liara, but not sure with ash.

According to the wiki, there is just a bit of extra dialogue in the hospital scene that makes things a bit more tense if you cheated. Personally I was loyal on my Ash romance playthrough.

Would like to know if the romance scene changes though, like Liaras.

Aside from the second hospital conversation, no, there is no difference.

If you romanced her in ME1, then cheated in ME2, she questions you about it during that conversation. If you tell her that she's basically a thing of the past on Mars, she's uber-pissed at you but there's still a chance to re-kindle but you have to go full paragon from that point on in order to do so.

Basically, if you cheat you get snarky Ash. If you stay faithful, you get happy Ash. Choose wisely.

EDIT: I do think one or two lines are changed in the romance scene, I forgot. But other than that, there's no difference between faithful and cheater. I did both just to see the difference and I got it on with Miranda in ME2, so I broke up with her in ME3 (water works and all) and then I went to the hospital where Ash chewed my Shepard's ass out. I felt like such a loser.

Couldn't tell you. I've always imported.

I think it's just a dialogue change during the Citadel dinner date and the romance scene.

In my Ash romance save, my Shep was faithful. He only banged Jack down in the hold to shut her up and had Kelly up for some fun, but no romances.

Then in the hospital Ash was all like, "I hear you 'worked it out' with a lot of people."

I was like, 'How the crap did you know? Are you the new shadow broker?"

I was a complete paragon to her all the way through and was still able to finish the romance in ME 3, but she did point a gun at me in the confrontation scene.

Does she still point her gun at you if you stay away from everyone, even Kelly?

Yeah but if you uhh...resist temptation in ME2, she'll lower it quicker than she would if you decided to get it on with someone. Basically there's several different factors into it. Romance in ME1, faithful or unfaithful in ME2, were you kind or an ass to her on Mars, did you visit her all three times and were you kind or an ass to her during those visits, and is Thane or Kirrahe alive to save the Councilor..

Yeah it's quite a lot. :?

Heard the new Shadow Broker tells your "ex" if you did another girl. I mean, the Cerberus Normandy SR2 is bugged. And the Shadow Broker has footage of Jacob doing exercises - so I'm sure she also has some ideas what's going on when Shepard "goes down to business".

That being said - if the SB wants to harm your romance with Ashley, she'll do it. Bingo.

LOL

It would explain why an unromanced Liara from ME1 & 2 still tries persistently to get "close to you" in ME3, whether you've had previous romance with someone or not. She's attempting to sabotage your relationships so she now has a chance. Makes perfect sense. :bandit:

Ashley's dialogue is always the same, but there's a difference in Shepard's dialogue depending on whether the romance was started in ME1 or in ME3. If it's the former, Shepard basically has a little monologue about how awesome Ashley was when they met on Eden Prime. If it's the latter, he says that he knows he's stumbled across a good thing with her. Cheating in ME2 doesn't affect dialogue in any way, as far as I know.

I think she says 'I love you' more often if you were loyal.
