surprised. i max everything out at 1080 and yes, it still seems a bit unoptimized sometimes (some areas seem to have frame issues when it doesn't look very demanding) but the graphics aren't an eyesore, it's soft and the art is nice to look at.
the visuals actually hold up pretty well

Yes, and if you play through well made areas NWN2 looks very nice.
