A nce little mix of shades, I saw a bit of BG II in there, some of LOTR, and i felt rather than saw a touch of Sam Vimes (Terry Pratchett character) in Sten.

Dragon Age reminds me of NeverWinter's Night 2 base edition : minus NWN2's crappy camera... i would not be surprised to find many of the same people who worked on NWN2 worked on Dragon Age.

Actually, certain parts of DA:O reminded me of different things: The Sacred Ashes quest kind of reminded me of grail-quest stories like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, while the Anvil of the Void quest reminded me of Apocalypse Now. The world of Thedas itself reminds me of a medieval Europe and the different cultures therein, tho they seem to borrow heavily from that era(which i like b/c i love history )
Of course i saw other bioware games in there as well, and so many other things, too many to mention. But thats all i can think of off the top of my head.
