Would mid game DLC be okay if it just added content, or does it need to change the ending as well?

It's just going to be riddled with even more choices that have no impact and ultimately won't matter.

More incentive to purchase, more incentive to play and a platform to further develop the story until it anneals into something more coherent and rich than what we currently have.
You can't have something big happen mid-game without it having any impact on the conclusion.
Of course, if Bio doesn't see it that way I won't be throwing any more tantrums.

Personally i would love a new ending but the reality is that this isn't possible. They added in the rejection option and i imagine that is really going to be the extent to which we get a different conclusion.

- Should effect or add something to the ending
- Should have some other outcome than the ending, like determine whether Aria is Omega or not
- No buy

If it's a substantial and entertaining experience in and of itself (like LotSB or Overlord) then I don't care if it changes the ending or not.

I can't be bothered to put any money into this game what so ever. After the EC which was crap and the original ending which was crap, why bother anymore?
This, unless there's more to it or resolution in further games.
Endings did not make any sense whatsoever if taken literally.

Mass effect 2 dlc did not change ending
why should mass effect 3 dlc change ending?

I'd only buy a DLC if it actually added to the ending. Any mid-game DLC is like rubbing salt in a wound.

Because it's the end of the series and the conclusion to all 3 games. I still don't think it will happen though.

Surely that wouldn't be fair on people without access to the internet. Must have internet to get the real ending....seems weak and unfair, but saying that I wouldn't put it past EA.
Erm really than what exactly is EC ? As if you dont like what you see in original game you need internet to get explanation for your clearly unability to understand artistic integrity. So well EA can do it. And really i dont see how mid game DLC will be successfull if it dosen't add at least to the endings as it is going to be totally pointless to even play through it.
