Are RoF and movement speed not variables that can be changed for the enemy? I'm genuinely surprised to see just health/shield increases. I don't think that's the primary problem with Cerberus.

These are lazy changes as far as I'm concerned and the only one that is a "needed buff" is the Guardian health. Throwing more health on something isn't the answer at all in terms of balancing.  If you wanted to make Cerberus more difficult, increase the movement speeds of the Atlas and the Guardian.  While you are adjusting health, make the Banshees lower and if you really want to "balance" something, address the Geth and the huge problem that is the stagger caused from almost everything.  That's the very definition of stupid.

Address shield gating in relation to Sniper Rifles, address the Tactical Cloack glitche, the misfire glitches etc etc.

Disappointing stuff.

Well, I don't know if the changes are really significant in terms of difficulty. My guess is that they rather add two or three minutes to the average Cerberus run.

What Cerberus really would've needed is a Guardian that is anything more than cannon fodder and a Nemesis that isn't completely helpless at close range. But I know these would've been patching and not balancing issues.

The change with the OPs survival pack is kinda funny though, I still die 9/10 times I use it to stay alive in sticky situations. I can only guess that this is part of a hotfix, because they can't change much more than the amount of extra shields. lets see if that works out.

Out of curiosity. How do you get the Collector Rifle?

You have to buy one of a variety of Razer accessories, ranging in price from around $25 to in the hundreds. Each one gives you a unique code which will let you unlock a CR. If you want to level it up, you have to buy MORE accessories; no duplicates, each has to be a different item.

There was also a comic book and an art book that offered it, but those promotions may have ended.

The gun is absurdly rare; in 4 months of playing, I've seen it ONCE. Its also pretty weak.

^ Is that Eric trolling us or can we actually get it in multi-player?

Not the most exciting changes. Eh. Hopefully next week makes up for it.

I like how many people in this thread don't understand how little they can change through live patches beyond weapon damage, shileds/barriers/armor.

I'm disappointed in these. It will only take a few more bullets to kill these enemies, not an increase in difficulty.

Not what I expected. Is it possible to change the movement speed of the Guardians to something similar to a cloaked hunter? Maybe with the movement speed increase, make their effective weapon range shorter?

They do currently not fulfill their niche to flush players from cover (as they move too slow on any map to get close enough to be a real threat) and provide an easy headshot medal at present.

Giving Cerberus more health and shields means next to nothing. The problem lied in their lack of aggressiveness and a lack of infiltrators, Phantom aside, that can flush you from cover. I'm interested to see if there were some minor changes not listed here, like an increase in grenade frequency, or Geth Hunter-like AI for the Guardian, speed increase, etc.

If it's just a change to shield and health values, Cerberus will still be the easiest faction. It may just take an extra bullet or two. Whoop.

There are many mathematical equations that can be adjusted in these balance changes.

Love it. Don't know if you have a toggle for enemy movement speed or not, but the Atlas is plenty tough, it's just so slow that you can stay away from it or hide behind it.

Still love the changes, they were needed.

Not as bad as expected...

Why increase Bronze difficulty? That is for starting players, basically, with trash guns.

Not everyone plays on Silver and Gold, and Cerberus is easier on every difficulty level.

According to previous balance changes, they can change at least the following enemy stats:

Health/Shields/Armor/Barriers
Damage
Movement speed  - Confirmed as unchangeable
Unique modifiers, such as movement speed while cloaked
Evasion (dodge) rate, from both weapons and powers
Some sort of aiming delay
Stagger rate
Maximum/minimum number of different enemies at a time
Ideal combat range
Delay before shield regen
Maximum shield regen cap

Thats plenty in my book. I'm pretty sure there are a lot more things they can do as well.

No sniper rifle buffs.

I am disappoint.

I told you, they buffed the Nemesis! :P

Also...Atlas is going to be even more of a colossal PITA to take down when one or two team members go down early in a wave. Le sigh.

Unfortunately we aren't able to change regular movement speed for enemies through live updates.

Atlas will still be incredibly easy, just take longer.  None of these changes, sanse the Guardian health buff are well thought out Cerberus buffs.  Just a when in doubt, increase the health thing.  Difficulty is deeper than that.

I've been playing BF3 lately, and ME3 SP... not had time to explore the TC balance properly...

Why are people calling for a Sniper Rifle buff?

This is a balance change. Not a patch.

Then this was connected to a patch? Its a shame you can't, because it really is what Guardians would've needed.

Edit: Ok, you changed a multiplier there and you said you can't change the base movement speed. Two different things, my bad.
