Her character was altered so much that the hair became one of the least issues with Ashley in ME3.

She clearly looks better in ME2 here
Honestly, I think she looked best in ME1.
I just wanted to reply to people about the changes to ashley's face.
As far as I can tell, what they did was...
1) Lightened her skin slightly (although this might be due to the new and better lighting)
2) Thinned her lips actually (the lipgloss just draws attention to them, and therefore they look bigger - it's a trick makeup artists use frequently)
3) Changed the lip shape somewhat - the peaks are a little farther apart.
4) Her nose changed shape since ME1, but all noses did in ME2
5) Her chin is thinnner, which makes her jaw look wider.
6) Her eyebrows also changed shape, which can make someone look very different, as it draws attention to a different part of their face - in her case, the eyes rather than lips.
Other than her hair and (way too much) makeup, those are the only differences I see.
Oh, and back on topic... I prefer the bun/twist think from ME1, and the hair from ME3 would have been a lot better had they gone with the concept art - which had her hair down, but not falling in her face.
Also, the "armour" seemed more like an in-joke than actual armour (the whole mini-skirt convo in ME1). So that irritated me, especially since I usually had her in Heavy armour in ME1 <_<

Hair up, but if she likes her hair down, who am I to tell her... wait, my Shepard is her commanding officer, I should have some say in that thing, maybe BioWare could do some alternate outfit thing... probably not.
It would be interesting, if she would have different hair based on the situation - bun as a default, down while off duty and helmet in combat areas.

Hair up.
She looked like a skank in ME3.
lol... a woman lets her hair down and all of a sudden she's a skank.
Gotta love BSN.
Why was this topic even bumped anyway? Let it die already...
