Have fun b*tching on a forum when you know, you could be living your life. <_<

Hold on... *checks pulse* yeah, I'm living. And thinking. So I'm living. I'm also not acting like a jerk to people who care about this franchise and wants a certain level of quality.

Right.

Scepsis needs to take his own advice I think...

Why, because my opinion dissents yours and that irks you?

Not at all. The exact opposite in fact. You're mad because OUR expression of OUR opinions irks YOU.

...But, as to my comment, if you're going to imply to someone that they should live their life instead of ****ing on an internet forum... one would expect the person giving said advice to be able to follow through on it as well... otherwise they're being entirely hypocritical.

I see no problems, I see entitled gamers with no grasp of what it takes to make a game.

Are you blind?

-ME2 Arrival didn't matter at all thanks to ME3.
-No beginning trial.
-Collector base decision rendered useless.
-ME1 rendered pointless because of GlowBoy.
-GlowBoy in his entirety.
-Cerberus suddenly gaining the largest army and navy despite being a terrorist organization.

Etc etc.

Lol. Entitled.

This is the EXACT same thing that happen with ME2, and now everybody loves it. Waxing nostalga to convince yourself something new sucks is illogical.

The only thing that irks me from ME2 is the shuttle ride before the Collectors attacked.
Now, that an certainly be the truth (wasn't around a lot from that) did you ever think they think like that because ME3 took things to a new all time low in the sense department? It's the end of the story, BioWare had the chance to make a truly divergent game based on past choices... yet no.

I played it again.
At first I thought it was a problem but then on a recent playthrough I got the Reaper IFF and then I went to land on a planet to do a mission and then it started.
So I had a reason to be away.

Or was there a different reason people were confused?

The size of Cerberus' army is actually explained in game. They indoctrinated civilians at Sanctuary to become ground troops, workers, etc. Also, if you think about it, they also charged people a lot of money to get to Sanctuary, so they probably got a lot of their operating capital from that as well as Henry Lawson and other rich pro-Cerberus humans being desperate enough to give all their money away.

As for the initial Cerberus forces we see, it isn't unreasonable that TIM could have built those up in the 3 years between ME3 and ME1. Not to mention, at least 6 months between ME2 and ME3 to build his cruisers (he probably already had this in ME2 as he already had Chronos Station at that point as well).

WTH did Harbinger stop firing long enough to let the Normandy fly in, park in front of him, let a tearful goodbye occur, NOT shoot the totally exposed enemy warship that has plagued him for 2 games, let them fly awkwardly away... and then resume firing at the ant-sized people on the ground!?

Yes. He did stop fire, and what's even better Normandy didn't use that "chance" to
a) do something
B) transport more troops to the Citadel beam without them running under Harbingers fire
c) transport other wounded troops from the battlefield

heartwarming goodbye is what fans asked for.

It makes sense if you have a mission to do. (Legion's doesn't unlock until after the attack I think)
Everytime I do it, there are no more missions and the team just packs into the shuttle because... cake?

No idea. I can see why, but it's executed iffy.

And I don't understand why this is such a big deal. Scenes like these are very common in other types of media, and even in Mass Effect itself.

Because it's only there to keep the jungle planet scene... which thanks to the EC is even more worthless and nonsensical.

Thats because its just too absurd. Your in a last ditch attempt to charge the beam and you and your squad stop so they can be brought to safety?!

Come on, its funny if you really think about it.

Edit: I cant even hate it because I cant take it seriously enough.

Fun fact: Evacs happen all the time during an active battlefield. The evac during the beam is not absurd at all.

LOLOLOL Don't compare this to Grampa's war kid.

Reapers don't give two ****s about the Geneva Convention, and the Normandy is a thorn in the Reapers Plans. They would have shot it as first priority before it even made it past the bulkhead in space.

i think the evac is absurd because it occurs in the midst of a desperation charge for the fate of the galaxy. not really an ideal time to have a ten minute farewell soliloquy. that said, the harbinger criticism is misplaced. his job is to protect the beam, not validate our personalization of a conflict with shepard.

the only time I really hate this scene is when I have javik in the charge. no way he evacs. no effing way. but that's a minor quibble.

The best part in all of this is the fact that the vocal haters here love to call out CoD players for being illogical and childish when they are ten times worse.

This is obviously not the thread for a ME3 fan such as myself, so I will take my leave. If my opinions insulted anyone, then too f*cking bad. I have my right to say them even if I am called a "troll" for saying them.

/my partaking here.

Yes,  and if you listen carefully you can hear Harby say, Whoomp, moan, whatever he does, you can hear him say "Enough of this!" After the Normandy took off and that's when he started really firing at Shepard.

The Reapers and Harby's downfall is how cocky they are. At least that's what I think.:)

I thought the Normandy was gonna ram Harbinger. Going into the game, I thought you were gonna have to sacrifice the Normandy at some point, and that would have been the perfect time.

You are right, but people here don't seem to have much knowledge on military procedure.
It's of higher priority to suppress people attacking you than attacking those running away. This is why evacs such as the one portrayed in the game make are possible and make sense.
The Reapers, being good strategists, obviously would want to encourage people to run away, since as long as no one gets to the beam, victory is theirs.
