I haven't read any of the posts on the forum since the DLC came out.  In fact, I have purposely avoided the forums since last tuesday so I could absorb the ending (only played the red ending so far) and think about it.  I'm (I've been?) a member of the retake mass effect group, I REALLY didn't like the first ending.
Ultimately, I'm happy with this ending.

I still hate the choices (death for control, death for sythesis, or geth & EDI death for my life?), but the missing information has been added and the questions have been reasonably answered, I can go back to truly enjoying this series and that is the most important thing for me!

I like that the 'godboy' has been clarified to be a VI, how his original creators didn't like his solution and fought against him, his mistake in believe that the crucible wasn't a threat, even though he was aware of it several cycles ago.

At the same time, since Legion dies no matter what, I don't care about the rest of the geth.  And I'm hoping the machines 'death' doesn't include VI, because EDI would still be running on the ship (only no more body) after they manage to fix it up anyways.

I'm going to miss Legion.  And Mordin.

I realize there will be many that disagree with what I say here, and that's fine.  Really this is feedback for the Bioware staff - thank you.  This is what the ending should have been, don't sacrifice quality for the sake of extra profits next time EA, you know the sales have more than justified the extra cost for this DLC!

Now if you continue to make cool stuff merchandising (hello, where are the ship models - like plastic you-build-em models?) I will cancel my embargo on EA / Bioware stuff.

BUT - this hurt, I don't know if I'll invest in any new IPs from Bioware, I invested far more (emotionally) in this series than I have in any other game I've played.  I'm not sure I'd be willing to do so again with a new IP.
