i cant remember exactly what i did tbh but i was told more than once that the templars and mages would help me in dialogue. only the mages helped in the final fight. did i misread something somehow or what?

If you save the mages and let Irving survive / stay. The templars will no longer help you but allow the mages to help you.
If you have Irving sent away (suspected of being corrupted with Blood Magic) or allow him to die to Uldred, then the templars will help youin the final battle instead.

Well, on dialogue, they say templars and mage will help you, but actally, ONLY the mages will help you if you saved them from the pride demon. The templars will only help you if you let all the mages die, but in that case, the mages obviously do not show up.

yeah i thought it said both would. owel, had no effect really just bugged me.
