I have misplaced my serial number for ME1, apparently I lost the little
slip of paper it came on.  EA support was unable to help, but I did have
an install of ME1 on an old computer.  I can't boot up that computer,
but I can access its hard-drives.  I've tried looking through the
registry stored on the old drive but I can't seem to find the key
anywhere.  Does anybody know what I can do with these resources?

If you can run the Mass Effect Configuration Tool off the drive, select 'Game' on the left, and it should be there if I'm not mistaken.

Unfortunately, I can run the configuration tool, but it crashes on system scan. Possibly because the game was installed on a different drive than Windows/the registry on the old machine.
