Ah yes, the ages old philosophical question of meteors vs. dinosaurs.  As long as dinosaurs exist, meteors will always fall on them.  The optimal solution is obviously to have the meteors merge with the dinosaurs to create atmosphere-resistant dinosaurs capable of space flight.

Oh, but they have been thinking about going the dinosaur route for some time.  Somebody forgot a certain scene on the Eden Prime mission where one James Vega professes his love for dinosaurs.

Yes, but we need more player choice and artistic integrity.   I propose that Barney is a homosexual LI for male shep, but his twin brother Blarney (who was raised in Mesozoic Ireland) is a LI for fem shep.  At the end of their mission Shepard,  Barney, and Blarney are in a Mexican standoff and Shepard gets to choose which one to shoot.  None of this can go into the ending though, only +100 war assets

This is ridiculous! No way would BioWare put another straight LI in the game for FemShep!

You're right, that would be a rather absurd idea and probably wouldn't fit the vision of Bioware's writers.  Fem shep deserves a better straight-LI than an Irish dinosaur who cheats on his taxes anyway.  By better I mean Thane Jacob Garrus (but only if continued from ME2) and Kaiden.
