Maybe they are the people who designed the crucible
Then we will finaly get the answers to what they were planning to do with that gigantic tripple A battery... Or maybe they are the ones that decided to adapt the design to work with the citadel.

Clearly this is truth, pure and simple. Krogans and Turians are simply offshoots of the superior dinosaur breed, much like modern birds and reptiles.

Yeah, the Voth. I mentioned them before, they are a perfect example.

Her name was Ravia, which is based on the Norman word for ravage, when I used Old Norse related languages as a base for the race. I envisioned her much more tame then Jack was in ME2, but she still loves to kill.
And for future purposes, I named the race the Waivra. If anybody dislikes that name and/or has one better please let me know.

I like your spirit, but I think the name of the race is too important, we need to ask the fans what they want!
Personally, I'd like to stick with "Dinosaurians", for as goofy as it can sound.

That's why I asked; the more feedback I get the better choices I can make. I came up with Waivra in a vacuum, and I only settled on it because I didn't know what D240, Googledog, Taboo-XX, or anyone else wanted in the name.
I think Dinosaurians sounds to goofy to be taken seriously (I still prefer to call dino-supporters Dinosaurians though), but I'll try and make up a name similar to it.
Dinosaurians = they of terrible lizards

That sounds cool......... Interesting that you are basing names off a real language too. Makes it more authetntic.

Bioware does the same thing too. Like Garrus is based on the word garrison; and Sovereign's true name, Nazara, is Old Turkish for observe or watch.
Right now, I'm trying to find legit Akkaidian translations to name RaptorGirl after Ishtar (Goddess of war and love) and StegoVanguard after Sargon (king or ruler).

Good ideas Versus! Allright, let's drop Dinosaurians (but let's not drop all the campy sides of the DLC! Sci-Fi campiness can be good... look at the Vorcha!) for the name of the race... what is the translation for Waivra?
Actually, Waivra is based on the word wyvern. I chose to name them after this because of three reasons.
- Dragons are claimed to have been inspired by dinosaur fossils.
- It possess traits from both birds and reptiles, like dinosaurs.
- Cryptozoologists interpret wyverns as surviving Pterosaurs
My main problem with this name of course is that it's dragon related, not dinosaur. Sadly, when I used Old Norse as an inpiration for names Waivra was the best I could turn up. But since we moved to Akkaidian I'm more then willing to come up with a new name.

Please remember, however, that we may not lose the irony of all of this. This thread started as a troll thread, and when I, Versus and a couple of other "original" Dinosaurians saw the awesome potential of Dinosaurs showing up in ME3 it evolved into something more.
But we always stayed faithful to a certain degree of irreverent irony and I think the Dinosaur DLC could reflect that without turning into a complete joke. I'm okay with well-thought and more "serious" names like Waivra, Ishtar and Sargon... but let's not forget that the original plans included the "dinofication" of Liara and Garrus!

Okay, Waivra will stay unless somebody else speaks up. I have put a lot of thought into this concept and hearing your approval guys help me to keep going.
I haven't forgotten Googledog's intention of making this a troll thread first. I've already included a way to "dinofy" squadmates. I mean, how else was I going to explain that an evolved species of dromaeosaurids have features from stegosaurs or triceratops?

I will acknowledge that the pic is scoring an 11, from a 1-10 scale, on the
amount of squishyness oosing from Grunt as he finally gets his very own
dino-buddy.
Just think of this instead. Headbutts are always good!

The author of the article (Devin Farac from Badassdigest.com) is clearly against the idea of those kinds of hybrids in JP, but I think that they may be perfect as a race of evolved, intelligent Dinosaurs from outher space!
I mean... look at that Triceratops !
Here, take a look: See The Concept Art That Helped Kill JURASSIC PARK IV

But I've already included Waivra-Dino hybrids and how dinofied squad mates could be created. So we're good.
