actually - becuase i'm usually on at like 2-6 am Pacific Standard time - i end up playing with quite a few australians... usually don't have any lag problems. meh
and i rarely - if ever - host.

Hah, I actually had to go watch that speech again, and you're right really fits with the theme of the game, hell, you could dub that over Shepard's final speech on Earth and no one would bat an eyelash.

Still if I was on the receiving end of that in a lobby you'd be muted as things played over live mics invariably sound horrid.

No, British was right, English was wrong. I've said the one while meaning the other many times before, too, but would be careful not to do it while talking to someone who's actually from the UK. It's just a very touchy subject.
