When I have the Butterfly Sword it says under the stats that it has Low morale.. My question what does this mean is it another way of saying Aprovial goes down when using it or is it a stat that really doesn't mean anything!  I am just wondering is all on this!   Sry if this is considered a Spoiler and in this section on the forums did know where to ask this.

Googling this, as I hadn't heard of te "butterfly sword" before, I see that it is part of the "Feast day pranks" DLC. The DLC contains "prank" items aimed at each companion, and these items allow you to manipulate the infulence system. The "prank" items give -50 influence.

The "Feast day Gifts" DLC items each give +50 influence.

To the best of my knowledge and experience neither 'low morale' nor 'rainbow power' actually do anything. Sten's approval does drop by 50, but that is true for all of the Feastday pranks.

My last two playthroughs of Awakening I made sure to equip Oghren with the Butterfly Sword at the start of the game. It has decent stats and provides a good laugh.

yeah its just funny to have it on Sten lol but I just was wondering about the stat lol It does have decent stats its just funny to have someone like sten use it as it glows rainbows and butterflys! =p

that butterfly sword turns out to be one of the better weapons picked up in the game. I give mine to Oghren as well.

I saw the wiki on it but it I figured that it means nothing and is either something that was wasn't taken out or its just there to give the sword a random stat name lol either way still a nice sword I didn't think it could be imported to Awakening which is neeto! Any one at bio wanna tell us the meaning of the stat? Just curious I know it doesn't do anything but that's just me not paying attention or not seeing what it does.
