Is this a confirmation that Cassandra will be the central character in the next game that you will play? Or is it a forth coming admition that your next protagonist will not be the most important character in the game much in the same way as Hawke was not the most important character in DA2?

I'd say it's heavily implied that she'll play an important role in DA3, either as a companion or major NPC that we will work closely with throughout the game. I don't think she'll be more important than the protagonist, maybe equally as important in the same way Alistair was in DA:O?
Alistair mostly sat at the party camp with Zeveran watching the campfire making sure it didn't go out. I put Dog in charger of watching both of them. Then he left in a crying huff at the Landsmeet and became a drunk. You mean as important in the same way as Leliana? She's a seeker too, by the way.

I would really dislike that. Not that dislike Cassandra or anything, just the idea of a completely fixed protagonist in Dragon Age... ugh.CrustyBot wrote...
She ought to be the fixed protagonist.

She seems a bit set in her ways. Could work though, depending on the story.

There is no canon. Only Zuul.

Leliana isn't a seeker, David Gaider said so.

Say what? She just likes wearing Seeker uniforms? Or did I misunderstood what I thought I saw?

I believe Gaider implied that Seekers don't necessarily have a uniform, meaning that what Leliana and the others were wearing was not Seeker armor but some other faction's.

So the other black armoured guys in the ending also aren't Seekers?
I would suggest the possibility that the Seekers do not, in fact, have a uniform.

Everybody is up in arm with Gaider saying Leliana is not a Seeker despite her wearing that armor. They all miss the really important things that he said in the thread:
I was not "surprised" that someone made that assumption. All I'm saying
is that it's an assumption. Yes, Cassandra is a Seeker (or, at least,
claims to be), but there's nothing that suggests what she's wearing is
the "official Seeker uniform"-- you've only seen the one, after all.
As for Cassandra's role in DA3, she's important simply because she have way too many connections to important players in the Game: Chantry (Right Hand of the Divine), Orlais (Hero of Orlais), Neverra (she's a Pentaghast, aka Royalty). This mean she everybody will want to kill her...

Thanks for the thread. I see that it was posted seven months ago back in December. I have a lot of reading to do to catch up.

I wonder if the Divine gonna survive DA3 , i don't imagine Cassandra becoming Divine though.
There's also the fact that she's from a dragon hunter familly and dragons are coming back...
Could be cool if she hire our future pc to look for the old ones ,I'm not too fond of the idea of playing a seeker but it has potential.

Okay....moving on. So Cassandra might the main character in the DA3 game? Not playable of course. Maybe you have to take orders from her all game and earn her respect. That would be an interesting twist in the rpg genre, you role play as a side kick.

I wouldn't be surprised if the first act has the PC being recruited by Cassandra, but I really doubt the player would remain in her shadow for the entire game. I don't think that would go down well at all.

But it would fall into the artistic realm of storytelling, which you can't argue with that.

For people who may disagree and oppose Cassandra and Leliana, I wonder if we will have any choice in taking them down, or if they will be plot protected.
