Alistair mostly sat at the party camp with Zeveran watching the campfire making sure it didn't go out.  I put Dog in charger of watching both of them.  Then he left in a crying huff at the Landsmeet and became a drunk.  You mean as important in the same way as Leliana?  She's a seeker too, by the way.

Well we do choose our characters performance. My Alistair went with me on every quest effectively and ended up becoming King of Fereldan. Don't forget that Leliana could be treated just the same way, even killed on several occassions. Just because they decided to reincarnate her no matter your choice doesn't mean she is any more important.

Leliana isn't a seeker, David Gaider said so.

Say what?  She just likes wearing Seeker uniforms?  Or did I misunderstood what I thought I saw?

I believe Gaider implied that Seekers don't necessarily have a uniform, meaning that what Leliana and the others were wearing was not Seeker armor but some other faction's.

Depending on how the story of DA3 unholds, and indeed whether or not it even focuses on the mage vs templer war or if BW decides to scrape that whole idea, I can see her either being a companion or a villain, maybe both.
