Hello everyone, I have finally begun work on a Mass Effect inspired fan-fiction. I just wanted to ask you veterans where the best place to post it is? Thanks!

Fanfiction.net is probably your best bet. It's got the biggest reader base probably of any site out there, however if your fic has a lot of "mature" subject matter it might not meet their posting requirements. Otherwise you might  want to check out Archive of Our Own which has no such restrictions.

Also check out lillitheris' mondo fanfic support thread. If you have questions about fanfic, you'll find a bunch of friendly folks willing to let you bounce questions and ideas off of 'em.
