Alright, I'm beginning to get more than a bit agitated when it comes to the downloadable content. I have successfully managed to download and install both the Stone Prisoner and the Blood Dragon armor thanks to the use of redemption codes which came with the game (codes were to expire april 30, 2010).

However, ever since I have initiated these codes, I have been unable to log into the personal storage vault regarding the point system. I check the rewards under player profile and I have (last time I checked) 1,225 points worth of rewards and I have not spent a single one since the codes gave me the Downloads for free.

However, when I go to the Downloadable content with the intention of downloading the Warden's Keep expansion, it reads off that I have 0 points and can not download it, despite clear evidence to the contrary under the achievements section. To make this worse, even when I unlock new achievements and earn even more points, it still refuses to acknowledge the increase in points needed to download the content. This error never occured until soon after I used the redemption codes and has been going on for well over a week now.

I am not sure if this inability to use or earn more points relates to the fact that I use cheat codes for playing through some of the game, but if that is the case, I think it's  a tad extreme to try disuading people from cheating the game. It actually belongs to my brother who bought it, I was just playing it for the time being and I can imagine he'll be quite upset if he finds out that he's unable to try expansion packs simply because I used codes to get through the game.

If this is due to a server error, the use of cheat codes, or some other kind of error relating to the point system, i would like to know what's going on. At first I tried waiting it out because I thought the servers were being updated, but now I'm not so sure.

Achievement points are not used to buy DLC content if that is what you mean.

They are simply for bragging rights.

If you want to get DLC you need to purchase points with real money.

Get them here  https://points.biowa...ockbox/checkout

They aren't the same points. Where are you getting this "downloadable content points?" Certainly not from your player profile. You have to buy Bioware Points to get DLC, and the points you get from achievements are completely separate, like Gamerpoints on XBL.

Ah, then it must be because I tried making a different profile from my brother's that is the cause I haven't gained any points yet. When I checked on his profile, he had enough points to download the Warden's Keep, but my profile doesn't.

Thank you for clearing that information up for me.

Not legally no. And i wouldn't recommend pirate software when it goes wrong you'll get no support and no sympathy here.

We'll that's pointless to give us points for getting the achievements then if you can't do anything with them.
