My only true complaint about the synthesis ending is it makes everyone green. Why can't we have red glowing people too, purple, or etc.
 

This is a really good point.  ME is our story, and as the players we should get to choose the ending we want for Shepard and his squad.  I would choose purple eyes over green immediately.

There was no synthesis beam in ME 1 because there was no crucible.  Try to keep up.  The crucible changed the game.   Saren was just desparately grasping at straws to justify himself.  Synthesis was not even an option until the crucible was deployed.

...See, now you've gone from angry to downright spiteful.  The Synthesis ending slideshow completely supports the idea that Synthesis leads to a peaceful co-existence.  The fact you're calling actual canon "headcanon" to me shows you're just going straight off the deep end.

Listen, if you don't like Synthesis, that's fine.  We've got NO issues with that.  But don't claim your stance is factual or has any basis in fact outside of your own personal bias.  Any of your so-called "evidence" equally supports their view as much as it does yours.  And the fact that it supports your argument or their's doesn't make your argument more correct and their's less correct.

I mean if the Reapers really wanted that, and its really a form of 'mind control' like people say, then your willing participation in the process is not necessary. And it wasn't like there weren't other bodies it could have used. Like TIM who clearly got there ahead of you.

And the most important point is it left the other two buttons turned on. That doesnt say 100% to me.

Just because someone tried something once, it doesn't mean they want it. Like my mom made me taste her meatloaf once, which I hated. But many years later I tried someone else's meatloaf and it wasn't so bad. That doesnt mean I had a secret Meatloaf agenda.

Once again. There is no co-existence if they are made the same.

All I claimed as factual in this topic was the fact that the Reapers want synthesis and have tried it before.
The Catalyst is creator, controller and embodiment of the Reapers, hence it's will is the Reapers will, hence my statement.

Anything else I say on synthesis is supported by the themes of Mass Effect and events of the games. I let those speak for themselves.

Besides, all of the endings are what the reapers want. Whether or not synthesis at all is what they want is the question.

only state that the logner an argument or discussion happens the more
