I liked it.
Plus it had Mr. James Vega in the flesh. FPJ.

I think that list is pretty awful. I have no idea why they would cast big stars like Kiefer Sutherland or Michael Clarke Duncan to play the aliens. These would either be CG or guys in suits, so why not use the original actors? They sound familiar and they don't cost nearly as much.mcgreggers99 wrote...
For me personally this is the best cast list I've seen for actors to play Shepard and company....

Most of the aliens would be CGI based and those two are actually great vioce actors. You're still forgetting that movies are designed around movie goers and most of the video game based voice actors don't get movie roles unless if its Anime or cartoon related.Fredvdp wrote...

Give it to Joss Whedon, it's your only hope for a good movie.
He would be PERFECT for this type of movie. Joss Whedon is great at making a team dynamic with each member of the team having different personalities. That's why the Avengers was actually a success instead of a failure.

"This remake of The Poseidon Adventure delivers dazzling special effects. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that any of the budget was left over to devote to the script."
"With its low production value and uninspired direction, Impostor comes off as a mixture of The Fugitive and Blade Runner, only not as good or as involving."
I Am Legend was an interesting movie, but mostly because of the plot from the books.
So, yah, doesn't seem like we should set our expectations too high.

Don't you mean the Resident Evil movies are one of the best adaptions just like the Tomb Raider series, Silent Hill, and Prince of Persia. Haters gonna hate especially when movies are made for movie goers not gamers.Biosman wrote...

I see no reasopn why to based on how LotR didn't do that they and there's more content in each of those books then each of the ME games.GarrusIsMyBro wrote...
Just wanted to mention this. Couldn't they just split the movie into two parts to let the audience bond with the characters and really do the plot justice? You could have Mass Effect Part 1. It goes from the Citadel, Therum, Feros, and then to a final battle with Benezia on Noveria and ending with a cliffhanger. It would be at least 2 hours long. The second movie would pick up right after the first and would contain Virmire, docking back at the Citadel, illos, and the final confrontation with Saren.

I doubt that Bioware or the director they are hiring would be willing to direct a movie as epic as LotR. If they did that would be fantastic. But I doubt it.

We never since Peter Jackson was basically a no name Director when he started on LotR. M. Night was also a no name in general while his triple threat ended after Signs. Personally I enjoyed the Cell and I am Legend while neither were high budget high profile titles, Btw most of the remakes haven't done that good and the original Poseidon didn't do tthat well anyways.GarrusIsMyBro wrote...

That isn't a bad thing just like what happened with Star Wars, Star Trek, LotR, Aliens, Terminator, and Blade Runner.Nefla wrote...
Oh well, it's not like this movie will be made with ME fans in mind anyway. It will be made to attract an average movie going crowd who knows nothing about the game. It will be a generic sci-fi movie most likely.

thats usually how it goes, and the gamers who played the game hates it, while others love it
and vise-versa when they make games out of movies that end up sucking

You do know that "they" could be waiting for select group of people based on how the project is still in casting, which it took forever for Avatarand Predators to get made.Saberchic wrote...
I think this project is eventually going to get dropped. They've been "working" on this for far too long now. I'd be surprised if this movie sees the light of day.
