Thanix cannons are reverse-engineered reaper magnetic-hydrodynamic weapons that shoot a stream of molten metal at a fraction of the speed of light. So, how in the Biotic God's name do you turn that concept into a missile system?

"Thanix kills Reapers. I need missiles that kill Reapers. Therefore, Thanix missiles! I'm an artist! Wait, what's Thanix?"

That's how.

I assume it was supposed to be Javelin missiles but was renamed because of either a) an error/oversight in continuity or B) Thanix sounds cooler.

Yeahhh there was a huge discussion about this a few months ago. The forums came to the conclusion the only way it was possible was if the Thanix missile actually shot out... Thanix cannons.

What do you mean missile - as in guided missile? How would you change its trajectory ... it's originally liquefied and turns into a solid as it is fired, so I don't know where you would mount thrusters

LETS FIND SOMETHING NEW TO COMPLAIN ABOUT TODAY! THAT WILL CERTAINLY MAKE US ALL HAPPIER PEOPLE.

You know, there was a time when I respected people for disliking Mass Effect 3, even though I disagreed with them. Now I've come to believe they're mostly whiny 12 year olds who are mad they didn't get another sex scene in the ending sequence, so they're just looking for anything to complain about.

This is still one of the funniest quote I've seen on BSN.

Quoted for truth.

Also wasn’t it said that missiles were useless because of GARDIAN lasers?

I suppose they just stick some Thanix in the missile and the Thanix goes boom and gets everywhere.

Yes you are so much more mature barging into every topic like this one and complaining about everything said.

I complain when people say stupid things. I speant a while trying to explain to people why they are being stupid, but I eventually realized that is a path to annoyance and failure.

I mean really, the haters are so out of things to say that they are now whining about the naming convention of missiles in the game?

Basically, Thanix = molten metal

So...

A Thanix missile has Thanix cannons which fire in all sides after the missile flies past the target's barriers.

Case solved!

So if I have a hand grenade that releases poisonous teddybears upon detonation, and those teddybears are filled with raspberry jellybeans, I should live with it just because other aspects of the universe are ridiculous?

Masterful logic.
