So since my account/profile seems to be buggy, I have a question.
Is there a way to completely delete my current account and recreate a brand new account? If I do this, how will it affect my game?
I'm assuming my achievements, spec unlocks, and online profile characters will all be erased. What about my DLC content? Is that tied to my account? Am I able to re-enable my DLCs onto a new account somehow?
Account Deletion and New Account Creation?

All your registered games and DLC are bound to your account. I wouldn't go for just deleting it.

I tried it yesterday. there is no option to delete an EA-account (but i need to do that, because I have to link my gamertag to that new account and without deleting an existing ea-account the gamertag remains linked to the old email adress over there.)
So no way. You can create a new account at EA and here as well, but if it you want to link your gamertag to a new account youre in dead end. ("Persona is used by a different user")
I just stick with this one now and with the messed up profile objects of course. At the end, its just a profile nobody looks at. Everything can be viewed ingame too and its animated as well

It wouldn't help, I asked the same question some time back. Devs said: won't help. I can't give you the precise quote, but that sums it up. In fact, I believe that you won't lose your achievements and so on, because the site gets that info from your pc, which will still have it all - and it won't get rid of the bugs either. Read the first thread in this subforum, the DA Diagnostic Page one, for more info (and the comforting knowledge that you aren't alone).

If I go under "Account Settings" there is a tab at the top that says you can delete your account. Says everything will be deleted from account, including uploaded data.
I wonder if that effectively deletes everything if you wanted to clean up your profile mess? I mean you'd probably have to reinstall DA:O to wipe achievements/characters/etc. too if you truly wanted to do this. I'm contemplating this after I finish my current playthrough to remove the multiple personas bugs, especially before Mass Effect 2 later on.

Personas have nothing to do with BioWare profiles (except they show up here). The only account that matters is your EA account, and gamertag/PSN for console players, and judging by other users' reports it seems these cannot be changed or deleted. Most multiple account issues seem to take root in users using existing accounts for the game and creating new accounts for this site, which means generating a new EA account behind the scenes.
Is your problem one of multiple console accounts or multiple EA accounts?

No. I created an account on this site Nov 1st, 2009 for the first time. I've never had an EA account nor do I use any consoles. For some reason, 2 personas were created for Dragon ge under my account without me doing anything.

I don't suppose you remember if the site was being particularly unresponsive at the time?

Exactly the same thing happened to me. I didn't create two personas, I didn't have 2 personas for the first several weeks - then I did.
In any case, as I stated above, I asked in the DA Diagnostic Page thread about deleting the account and starting 'fresh'. The developers told me it would not fix the problem. Note, I didn't say that you couldn't do it, but that I was informed it would not fix the problem. Thus, lots of 'messing around' for no net benefit.

I don't understand why EA will not allow you to delete an account then? Isn't it well within our right to delete personal information? I logged into my Social account on EA's site (I guess they're linked) and notice I have 2 personas setup there too. The only option is to change the default persona, but not to delete. This system is horrid.
Yet, I have to login in-game to use my DLCs. I want the option to nuke all profiles, accounts, and game info.

I would assume it is a safe-guard, considering how important the EA account apparently is. Of course, that means whoever designed the system in the first place made some serious mistakes.
