I am looking forward to starting the game, which I just got today, but I don't want to screw anything up.  I thought I was supposed to get some kind of ring if I created a character online, then uploaded it when I got the game.  Now I go to my character creator screen I downloaded a while back, and it only lets me "create new character".  I had saved the last one...why is it gone?  And it says nothing about a ring.  Do I have to create a new character after I already had one?

Also, I purchased the Collector's Edition.  Why does it not have the Warden's Keep, which I had read in an article was almost necessary to the game's enjoyment, due to something about inventory problems?  I had read that all owners of the Collector's Edition would get it free.

Also, the game did not put any kind of icon on my desktop, and does not even show up in the start menu.  AAH.  The Character Creator icon I used last week is on my desktop, however it only goes to the Character Creator page. 

I'm afraid to even use the DLC codes, because it says they only work once, and I'm afraid of screwing them up!  I've never played a game that required me to download additional stuff (except on XBox Live, and that was pretty straightforward), and I'm really concerned.

Obviously I'm not a techie, so I would appreciate any advice.
