I was quite successful with my Human Infil melee build. (I was finishing first on most matches but armored targets were a little tough for me to handle alone) Though I still wish the TC duration wasn't cut in half with basic maybe shave 2 seconds off but cutting it in half was a little too harsh IMHO.
One thing I must mention though is the boost to Human Adept melee is amazing

Question: If it's unplayable, how there's people that still playing it?
Actually I felt little difference on the number of infiltrators showing up in the lobbies. This mean the class still playable, right? people is playing, so it's playable...
I will play a infiltrator this weekend, I was busy with biotics, making screen shake and sh*t...
edit: I like how this nerf is showing who really are good infiltrators players, and who only played it because it was OP. Now we have more guys really good at it running around, an less bad players hidding behind the cloak..

If you find them completely unplayable, then perhaps you should re-do the 101s of ME3 Multiplayer.
And before people begin saying that "they should just buff up everything else to infiltrator level", note that it's a stupid idea, and achieves the same results as debuffing them does, albeit taking far more time and a lot more late nights at the office for the balancing team. If they buffed everything up to infiltrator level, then they would have to buff the enemies to compensate for this, as escalation ends and a balance is reached, the infiltrator is still worse off, and all you've really done is spend a month or two doing what you could have done in a week.
The duration drop is perfectly fine. Don't make me start using Javelin missile examples to support the argument. 4 seconds is plenty of time to move yourself somewhere else, if you can't do it in that, then spend an evolution on duration. If you want to keep the damage, then keep it, but you've got to lose something.

Mantis, Incisor, Raptor, Viper, Javelin and Indra sniper rifles all seem a fair bit weaker than their low capacity semi-automatic alternatives. On gold, there is little point to any single-shot sniper other than the Kishock. High-capacity semi-automatics and automatic snipers don't have the DPS to make up for their lower armor capability.
Every sniper rifle other than the Black Widow, N7 Valiant, Kishock and Krysae could do with a buff, primarily to give them some form of advantage over the above mentioned weapons. With Bioware's new look on weapon stats (the removal of weapon-individual modifiers, like in ME2), there's little use to any rapid-fire weapon that doesn't have an immense DPS.

With that in mind, why would you ever pick them over shotguns. Or even a Paladin :/

Are you kidding? All infiltrators are playable except the melee specced infiltrator (GI). The short cloak doesn't allow him to run up in the middle of mobs to get a chance to drop a proxy and melee, and the longer cloak makes him unable to do significant damage to melee and survive. This makes him dependant on high-level amps (which are not endless, and I prefer a class that is strong without them) and using his weapon. And using the weapon in 90% of cases with a melee build is just redundant when you've got other infiltrators specced for weapon damage that could make better use of it.
Where I previously wrecked on gold, I now have trouble surviving on silver (no amps). This makes this character not fun to play and thus unplayable for me.
