Gee, who would've thought with the way XIII-2 ended?

I will wait for that game, and be perfectly disappointed with it without your help! D:<

My expectations: A Final Fantasy game that plays like Kingdom Hearts. The devs seem to have that covered so I'm good. If that ends up not being the case...makeshift noose here I come!Arcadian Legend wrote...
People are putting too much hope on VersusXIII. You'll expect too much from it and no matter how great it may be it wouldn't meet expectations unless people lower their own.

Entirely faithful usually means very little changes. Might as well just play the FFVI that's out already.Mungolian_ wrote...
Only way Square will ever get my money is if they released an entirely faithful remake of FF6.
But that'll never happen.

I know she has a lot of fans and I'm probably not doing myself any favors for saying this, but I didn't like her at all. I'm all for cool female protagonists, but her backround is that she's a... small-town cop and I'm supposed to find it believable that she's the baddest badass ever? They lost me with her when they dedicated a significant part of XIII to her raging against the machine, in other words working to destroy her home and government because of an irrational hissy fit she was having.I strongly believe Lightning is the best thing to happen to that franchise

Even though I wasn't a huge fan of XIII-2 I'm interested to see where they take it from here. I strongly believe Lightning is the best thing to happen to that franchise since Auron so, I'm in.

Oh good, more gullible sheep falling hook, line and sinker for Square's business plan - sucker the consumer into buying lots of DLC and cash-in sequels. Thank God XIII-2 didn't sell that well.
Let's not forget that XIII-2 concluded with a non-ending that probably would have been as bad as the ME3 controversy had more people played it. The game literally ended on a cliffhanger without resolving anything, along with a "secret" ending that consisted of the villain thumbing his nose at the player. Better yet, the story was "resolved" in the DLC, which killed off the main protagonist after a game's worth of character development.
FF has been slowly circling the drain for years - the sooner people stop supporting this garbage, the better.
