Concept designs in a SE game being ill-fitting? Come on, there is nothing ill fitting about super badass female in hot pants, the group of people taking down highly trained soldiers in body armor that look like rejects from a pacific sun catalog......

I liked Human Revolution's art direction. It seemed to fit the theme they were going with, and it was published by SE.

Men don't wear deep V-necks.

*Zips up hoodie to cover shirt* Y-yeah! Image IPB

Or wool caps and trench coats at the beach. He looks like the third kid at Columbine who didn't wake up on time.

Yeah, I find nothing objectionable about V-necks or wearing Trench coats everywhere. That's very common actually, you obviously don't meet people very often.

You are very repressed.

Yeah, because he totally doesn't look out place dressed like he's waiting for a blizzard at a beach resort. It has nothing to do with his concept design being ill-fitting.

Also, I could be wrong, but isn't the legal age in Japan like 14? So by the standards set up over there, you've gotta work pretty hard to be a pedophile.

Outrageous!(Grabs a torch, pitchfork and riles up the local mob.)

I'm not saying I agree with it, but over there, it's not pedophilia. They're not doing anything wrong according to the law.

Nah, I was joking with that last post, but on the real they should crank the legal age up by 3-2 years if it's at 14 years old.

Key word here being "published". I know some publishers do get involved in the development of a game but that doesn't seem to be the case with Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

@Confess Ah-ha, I see what you did there.
Clever bear...

@Android That was Square Enix, but it's not the same writers. The person drawing out all the character designs isn't the same guy that does Kingdom Hearts, or Final Fantasy, so that doesn't really mean anything. Final Fantasy is a JRPG. The Japanese often have a strange sense of style in their media. It's not about what's functional, or what makes sense. It's about what the character designer thinks is the best looking.

No, it's just that people here don't dress up like mental patients. Does anyone honestly own trenchcoats? V-necks? Yeah, poeple wear those, but Trenchcoats? Not even the most harcore goths can get there hands on those things anymore.

For sure, I mean its not like I can't buy one online http://www.bing.com/...M=HDRSC6#x0y329

Or see someone wearing them.

Next thing you know you'll be telling me only robbers wear ski masks and no one wears camo minus soldiers and psychopaths.

You are truely wise and all knowing.

Yes, thank the heavens SE had nothing to do with Deus Ex outside of financing it. Eidos is the only reason for SE to exist these days.

My bad, he's wearing an overcoat. Still, no one wears ankle length overcoats at the beach with a wool cap. He looks like a lunatic. Don't know what part of the world you're from, but no one here wears a coat like they're Blade's stunt double.

Ah yes fashion, a form so hideous it requires changing every six months.

New York, Texas, whatever. Your point is moot considering you can find a trench coat in Texas and you can find them in Bond street and Oxford street in London regardless of weather and what is hot to wear.

And I pointed out I confused trenchcoat with ankle length overcoat. Go out and wear one. See how many people don't ****** themselves laughing.

Question. Repressed... Are you sure you know the definition of that word?

Actully, a large, yet breathable cloak or coat, makes perfect sense, also there is fashion. And praticality. You'ld be begging for one of those coats if you seen a Southern Wind storm, more so in dry area's like Texas. In fact its better to have a coat like that in a hot dusty area, than it is to wear shorts and tanks. Exposes more of your body to the elements. Kills you sooner.

On another reguard, no snow isn't so bad. I seen a goth guy dressed up in spikes, steel toed boots, and he stood 7 feet tall with a trench coat down to his feet and a mow hawk, and black eye shadow, it was like watching Bowser meets the Tyrant. I also live in an area where open carry happens alot, so not a big deal. Heck I've seen people dressed like Snow.

Most of them were dumbasses however. So it fits his character, no?
