As the title states, I've had to reset my password twice now in the past week when opening Origin. I have the latest version and before getting it I'd never had this issue. It's as annoying as hell and I'm wondering if this is a known issue or just something to do with me. You see a spammer managed to hack into my email account a few weeks ago and I had to jump through several hoops to get it unlocked. I guess thiat could be related to my issues with Origin but I'm not sure as a friend mentioned he'd heard this is a known problem dating back to last year.
Origin keeps saying my valid password is invalid!

never had that problem. make sure your antivirus is up to date and do a full scan. use malwarebytes antimalware and do a full scan with that too. if someone got into your email account and your origin passwords are getting reset id be worried about malware. or your passwords are terrible

Well my laptop, which has Origin and ME3 very rarely ventures online - only doing so about once a week to get windows updates really. I have full access broadband on another PC so the laptop can remain mostly unconnected. I've also just done a full AV scan on the laptop which took several hours and no threats were picked up. I'm just wondering if my email account is now on some sort of blacklist of compromised/unsafe accounts due to it being recently hacked and thus causing me to have endless prompts for passwords and password resets. I have only noticed these issues on BSN and Origin since the hack and BSN requests that I log in pretty much every time whereas before it would remember the password for well over a week.
I have to admit that even though I understand why Origin is being used, I don't fully trust it and I am so unsure of updating my games with the latest patches etc. in case something screws up and leaves me unable to play ME3. This password issue is just one example why I feel so jittery about it all.
I guess I'm just hoping that I'm not alone in having such problems...
