Javik is simply a not so bright grunt, like Prothean James Vega. Although Vega is likable, and Javik, not really. I actually think other Protheans were tired of his attitude, so they made him go into stasis pod, and they hoped they will still win the war, and he will just rot there. Sadly, they were mistaken.
I like my Protheans dead for 50,000 years.
Does anyone else not recruit Javik, even though you have the DLC?

Because he doesn't fit in and his personality is completely one-dimensional. He's annoying. Also, for being the only surviving Prothean, he contributes astonishingly little to our understanding of the Reapers or how to defeat them.
