I love Javik, he's one of my favorite characters. With the absences of Zaeed, Wrex & Jack, the game needed a cynic on the team.
Does anyone else not recruit Javik, even though you have the DLC?

He contributes so little to our understanding about the Reapers because he was a soldier; not a scientist. (A surprising choice of character type I certainly wasn't expecting. Everyone thought the Prothean squadmate was going to be some Reaper expert which was not the case; a Bioware decision I loved)Casticus wrote...

Javik is my favorite part of ME3. Why you no like?
Because he doesn't fit in and his personality is completely one-dimensional. He's annoying. Also, for being the only surviving Prothean, he contributes astonishingly little to our understanding of the Reapers or how to defeat them.
How's Javik supposed to know how to defeat the Reapers? He didn't study the Reapers...he fought them...and lost!
It's like Joker waking up in the next cycle during a Reaper Invasion and being like "Hey, I don't know how to stop them, I just flew the ships!"
And what's all this crap about Protheans being extinct and therefor impossible to exist during the current cycle?
The Rachni were extinct but that didn't stop them from showing up in the first Mass Effect...

If you feel that way, you should give me your DLC. I'd make better use out of it xD

Not trolling, but I must admit I don't find Javik very interesting, I do use him he's good in a fight, but he a bit of a meh character for me, I actually prefer Vega,
Just my thought, feel free to disagree.

Why wouldn't you OP? you get a wonder gun and Bioware's second greatest troll after HK-47 for playing through it.
