Only one's who's choice you determined mattered are the ones that agree with you. Anyone that would have wanted one of the choices to be chosen you disregard.

Please don't take this as me saying rejection is the wrong choice, because I've stated many times that there are no wrong choices for the individual that made them.

No, I'm taking this as you fundamentally misunderstanding the consequences.

You cannot assume such. You can only go by what has already been chosen, which is the fact that people chose to fight.

I agree people chose to fight, but to stop the reaper threat. You had the chance to stop the reaper threat and didn't. Leaving them to fight only to die.

Completely agree. Thus why I chose Refusal.

Again, can't fully commit to any of the 4 endings. All have their points and counter-points. Given what we are told in-game, I know that Refusal will have us lose. Our Cycle will lose.

To avoid this, I merely have to either:

1. Genocide an entire race of allies.

2. Dominate a possibly sentient race for all of time - for good or for ill.

3. Change everybody's DNA.

Not the most black-and-white of choices, is it?

Personally I always go with Destroy or Refuse. The Geth imo are machines so I can come with the terms of taking them out. Refuse, hey went out fighting what we believed in.

Synthesis, I do not favor because it denies people's free will. Who am I to decide what happens to a living being. What happens to the people in backwater worlds who know nothing of space travel? Or the people who reject what has happened? Suicide perhaps???

Like all evil, it wears the face of good to spread it's vile propaganda.

It is the worst, most hideous thing you could ever do. You use Jack as an example? JACK? Someone who was experimented on AGAINST HER WILL, who tattooed herself to cover up the scars just so she could stop being reminded of how they violated her every single day? Who suffers for it constantly?
Jack is the poster-child of why synthesis is wrong. It doesn't matter if they made her "better". They did it without her consent!

if not jack...then GRUNT, he is the "perfect" krogan...how? synthetics...through synthesis, everyone reaches perfection...

well for me control is a easy no, i mean one how many ppl saying they would rather die then live on their knees. and the catalyst was made to protect it's creators from organic synthetic war. which it choose to do by turning them into reapers. too much risk in control. power corrupts. absolute power corrupts absolutely

and synthesis is just wrong in so many ways, ones that have already been said

destroy is genocide of one species for so 13 others or so can live. high price but my shep accepts it, still wrong but has to be done in my eyes:?

Actually, it is...
2 and 3 aren't even choices...
The ending is a choice between going down fighting and sacrificing a species to save the galaxy...

that is no where near synthesis though, he was created artificially, but he is not synthetic at all, just organic

Despite him being the main antagonist of the trilogy, I believe the AI is telling the truth. It's forced to by the Crucible, I think.

Depends on the specifics of synthesis. What if people are able to reject the "additions", simply by not using them, just as we don't use our appendix?

And it seemingly does lead to a "better" life for all.

Does it eradicate free will? That is the important question. I don't believe it does, I believe everyone is still an individual. Yet that still doesn't make changing everyone's DNA right.

Funny because Eve said that technology ruined the Krogan, Also, you don't have the right to choose that for everyone, just because you believe it doesn't make it a fact, neither does it justify it you making that desicion for everybody.

I have an idea. You know how we have a huge problem with overpopulation these days? What if I'm a scientist, and I create a virus that lowered the fertility of humans, so that each woman could only have two offspring in her lifetime, and each man could only father two offspring. I've improved the species, and solved the root cause of many of the world's conflicts. No, I didn't ask anyone if they wanted this modification. Am I a hero?

To me yes. People need to stop popping out babies in my country like they're rabbits.

Not politically correct but I don't give a damn.

another thing of note. The whole galaxy becomes half synthetic? What of the people who reject. And not to mention as time pass would civilization itself become stagnate. I say that because I highly doubt synthesis is the pinnacle of evolution,

Evolution is a unique thing to living beings we are in constant of evolution. But I feel with synthesis evolution goes by the wayside, and that can not be good. Oh new virus appears, yup our immune systems suck now, we die.

And also what were to happen if say a race appeared in an unknown planet, and they weren't half synthetic? What would happen to them, take them out because they aren't half synthetic? Or would you make them synthetic? Would it lead to an opposite cycle of organics revolting against machines? Just thoughts ofc.

Now? It would be wrong.

But if we were 5 or so years from our world becoming so overpopulated we'd wipe ourselves out, then it'd be right.

We still have chance to fix it on our terms, with our freedom fully intact, so no need to go to the last resort.

and okeer created grunt...are you saying that no one should get pregnant because we didnt ask the sperm or the egg if they want to create a baby? lol

Shepard through his sacrifice...created synthesis...

there was no sudden massive changes (personality or otherwise to anyone after the green blast wave...

There's a reason I said to me. :P

Agreed.

Though I doubt it. People are mostly idiots (myself included) they don't tend to get it until it's too late. <_<

I remember it saying that technology such as ships would be destroyed, but we see ships flying during the end, also, the fact he says "the crucible will not discriminate" meaning Shep death, even though we see him alive, I can find way more of his lies if you would like.
