@Baronesa: Now Irina being "flashed" into a cloned asari body like on "The Sixth Day" is starting to get risky. See, while it might give them nearly 1000 years, it also makes every child a pureblood and Liara is a considered a pureblood already (even though she's 1/4 Krogan), and we know this raises the possibility of an Ardat-Yakshi. Rare means like < 1/250. So you can understand the reservations.

It was just that when I read the post and tweet that Keiji's Grey Box became sapient I about blew water out my nose. All I can say is that I want to work at BioWare. They must have some real good **** up there that we can't get down here.

So if a grey box with a virtual memory upload can become sapient. This opens the door for the entire resurrection process and immortality. It's the Cylon Resurrection ship.

Granted there will be "classism" like between the husks and non-husks. The husks will be doing the menial tasks, while the non-husks will be the ruling class. Such as it has to be in a utopia. The metal jobs and the skin jobs.

So it's pretty simple for Shepard to come back. Liara only has to plug her finger into a proper interface and do a file transfer, and voila! There's Shepard the exact way she was the last time Liara saw her, except now in a machine/organic body.

"Shepard! Don't panic! Relax! It'll take a few minutes to get used to this. You're fine. Everyone's like this now."

Shepard: "How did this happen?"
Liara: "I don't know. It happened when the Crucible fired."
Shepard: "Where was I?"
Liara: "Here, take my hand. I'll show you the entire event."
Shepard: "What the???" jerks hand away.
Liara: "Relax. Trust me."
Shepard: "I see. But where was I? The last thing I remember was you telling me you had a gift for me, then giving me the gift. It was beautiful."
Liara: "I ... made a copy of your memories ... so I'd never forget you ... just in case. Then the Crucible happened. They never found you. Then Kasumi showed me something amazing: Keiji's Grey Box had become sapient. Then I talked with EDI, and we had an idea.
"We had a new body made for you, and I put you in there. It's like the Lazarus Project only since we're all organic/synthetic hybrids now it was very easy to do."
Shepard: "So I'm not really me?"

Okay, so since the situation is so dire, I add some more modifications into the mix with my Save Humanity Virus. All people develop the exact same distribution of melanin in their skin, we all become a nice golden tan color, and we all develop black hair and brown eyes. No more racism! Oh, and all future offspring will be female, and reproduce via parthenogenesis, and only voluntarily, and only two offspring per lifetime. So, goodbye sexual politics, goobye pregancy from rape, and goodbye overpopulation. No, I didn't ask anyone if they wanted these improvements. Am I still a hero?

For what good it does, I agree with the concept of the "nuclear family" - that is two parents, two children (or one child).

Two role models for the child (heterosexual or homosexual), and the most stable environment for them too. Once you have more than two children, it becomes difficult for you to give equal love to all. You simply don't have enough time.

Therefore, for the children's sake, you should try to limit yourself to two.

Cool. Maybe some day I'll figure out how to make it so we no longer have to breathe, so we can survive in space and underwater. Since "being human" isn't important at all, I guess I can do anything and everything I see fit. Go me!

Oh, I like humanity. We're a truly bizarre race with so much diversity. So many different cultures, beliefs and opinions in one genome. It's truly amazing.

I wouldn't replace humanity if I had the choice. There are selfish, evil people, sure. But there are also kind, giving people. I won't condemn the good because of the bad.

This is a hypothetical extinction, where the choices have become rather dire.
