The map has been down since Thursday evening for me. That means that there was one full work day where EA/Bioware could have at least posted some kind of announcement regarding the inability of the map to phone home to their servers. The Alliance New Network would seem to have been the perfect place for some sort of announcement regarding the issue since it still funcitons.

I'm still betting that EA pulled the plug on the Galaxy at War map if the rumors of the Extended Cut adjusting the required assets to get the "best" ending are true.

The Mass Effect Infiltrator is syncing just fine though.

I'm also unable to connect. And regardless of the lowered threshold for the "best" ending, some of us still want to maintain 100% readiness without multiplayer. So I really hope EA didn't pull support for this app. Especially without saying anything.

This seems to be the case. ME3 MP servers have been horribly unstable for weeks.
More importantly, the BSN Galaxy at war status is lagging behind for a couple of days now too, the App has been down for the same amount of time and in Single Player the game has definate issues retrieving your readiness % and N7 bonus EMS.

I would think, while the app would never have priority over the rest, the problems tie together.
And seeing those issues DO have priority, it's just a matter of time.

There's been precedent actually. The Simpsons app for one. And it's been speculated before in this thread that support could be pulled. So throwing in my thoughts that I'd prefer that not happen is not unproductive. Some of us use this app and would like to continue doing so.

As much as I'd like to agree with this statement , it's not iOS at fault. The Galaxy Map is not able to connect to the servers. All other features of the app work fine. The problem lies on the server side.

Would be nice if someone official would drop a couple of lines in Alliance News stating that they're aware of the problem and steps are being taken or that they've pulled the plug on the project.

It's a conspiracy by Biowh0re lackeys under the direction of their voracious EA taskmasters to kill it and thus force everyone to play MP because we valiant scions of Internetland defeated/humilated/madethemourb!tchs and we KNOW they hate us and the word "free".  They are also likely behind 911, the EU Debt Crisis, why Farscape was cancelled, and the primary reason Adam Sandler never recieved the multiple Oscars he so richly deserves.

Just downloaded this today, and spent all morning trying to diagnose my internet connection. Hope this isn't EA simply dropping support without an announcement, although it is now too easy to believe the worst of this company. Main reason I downloaded is that it looks like there are two achievements I will need to beat this app to hit. Removing support just because the required EMS total has (apparently) been reduced will not get me those extra achievements! Also - it was something else to bang on before I got around to trying that last mission on Insanity again....

Same problem here. For the last three days the app says it cannot get internet connection to  the mail/messages or the Galaxy At War, but I do get messages from the Alliance News.

It's been down for a while for me too, but I'm pretty sure that as it's the weekend, this isn't too high of a priority for them at this very second. Hopefully starting nice and early monday morning they will get working on this problem......I hope.

 I'm having the same problems too and have done for a while now. My GaW had dropped into the 80% range so opted for multiplayer. After spending about 30 minutes waiting in 3 lobbies for all players to say they were ready I finally got to play one game when I should've played two in that amount of time... but I guess that issue is for a different forum! ;)

Just don't log on online until they fix it - your readiness stays static when offline.

Thats incorrect. The readiness rating steadily drops whether you are on or not. But this IS an issue regardless. The only thing I can access is the. Ews section when it decides to update. Any word from the app developer on why this happened or when an update will be implemented? I don't much like to have to rely on multiplayer to keep my readiness rating up. 

Keep up the great work Bioware.
