Of course, my news feed has been screwed up for weeks. Hopefully when they fix the iOS 6 problem, they fix the news feed as well.
Curiously, I am wondering why my news feed is in German and I'm in America. It says to do something to fix the feed, but I don't understand because I don't speak German.

It stopped accessing the news and GAW about a month ago, and after I updated my phone, it stopped pretty much doing anything. "Mail" I can access. That's it.
Turned out that, for a little while, using it immediately after rebooting my phone would work, but then halfway through collecting/dispatching fleets I get "error GAW - wrong URL" crap and it'd stop. Now it won't even load the Galaxy map at all, restart or no. Been sitting here for almost two weeks with two fleets waiting to be collected and the GAW dropping, dropping, dropping, and no "fix" has worked.
This is no way to manage a game. It's bad enough I have to be online to play ME3 as it is, especially after sinking the money into it I did (CE owner - or "sucker" as BSN and EA calls us). Not winning me over. In fact, this is just one more thing eroding my enthusiasm for this series and company.
This app needs to be revamped, made something we can access through our Origin account ONLINE or discarded completely.
Although I wonder why I care. By the time they "fix" this, it'll take three weeks to get it back high and I don't think I like this game that much. I would hate to think this is the straw, but it's starting to look like it.

The app is useless as it is. Playing Mass Infiltrator still works though. That's actually a pretty fun game, and I highly recommend it as an alternative. Also, if you have the facebook app, that works as a good feed as well. There are alternatives.
To which app do you refer? All the ones I can find are as useless as the datapad. I also see no reason to spend even more money on disenchantment, to wax poetical.

It's when serious problems (like this) develop and the only answer is complete silence that people get worried. This usually is a result of a company deciding that they aren't going to put anything more (at all) into a game, but don't want to scare away new buyers by announcing it, even when the game is clearly broken. Until one day they decide they want the server space back and then it just disappears out of the blue, never to be spoken of again. Now granted, the two examples I am thinking of are from companies well know for their shady practices. From what I know, Bioware seems to be very accommodating to their older games, as evidenced on these forums. It's just when I start seeing a pattern develop again, it worries me.

It'd be nice if a developer at least popped in and said, "Hey, we're aware of the problem, but we have a lot on our plate at the moment. We'll fix it but it might take a few weeks." Some people would be angry, but I think most of us would accept the answer and be patient. Unless they already did in a different thread and I just missed it.

I feel ya. I would hate to see this app die. After all, prior to ME3's release, it was made clear that you don't need to play multiplayer in order to increase your galactic readiness. This app is obviously the main way to do that. Besides, they know about the problem and are looking into it, so try not to worry too much. Here's a little bit of proof:

Okay, at least they know about it and plan to do something. Kind of wierd that Chris didn't post that in the thread they redirected to (this one). Oh well, at least that's something.
