It's official. It's dead. Oh, Bioware or EA haven't said anything, but I think we can all agree that this pathetic excuse for an app is dead.
Yup. It's kaput.
I've deleted it off my phone. If this is a ploy to force people to play MP - it's failed on my end. I have no desire to play MP, nor am I going to - I paid a hundred bucks for the CE and will probably buy the rest of what little SP DLC we'll get, but I'll be damned if EA is gonna milk me over and over just to get one more gun and 3% more GAW after how ever many bucks and hours of time in MP.
Not happening. I have neither that kind of patience or time.
If I can't keep the GAW up and end up getting screwed on the endings, I see no reason to play SP anymore, either.
I still play ME1 and 2 - and I
don't have to be online to do either, I don't have to constantly check some stupid readiness meter to either beat Saren or the Collectors. It doesn't add to my experience - that having to constantly "be ready"
detracts from it. It was a dumb idea from the get-go for the SP side of things, and for me, it's the straw on the camel.
Even
if they fix it, nothing changes, the results are still tied to MP or some stupid app, and I get penalized if I choose neither.
Even the majority of the fixes in the damn patches are for MP, not for the fifty things
still broken in SP. It's easy to see where the priorities lie.
I'll play it again when the rest of the SP DLC comes out, but after that, I'm done.
I've pretty much had it with the clusterfvck that Mass Effect has become.
