I'd say judging by your mani and your honest assessment of your gaming your ready as is and certainly ready to be a perfect teammate! (which is most important) and don't worry about topping the score board each game mate. The matchs are about team work and a cohesive unit. Especially on golds! While my Asari Justicar can certainly top the boards in our golds it's far more important I play her in her power assist role as a primer and bubble supporter.

Your ready now go kick some ass!! And all the best to ya!

A lot of good advice here. Your best bet transitioning is going to be trial by fire with supportive teammates (typically friends). This will take away the stress or anxiety of "letting the team down" and enable you to experiment and get acquainted for the different difficulty & numbers of enemies.

Like that one person said. Take it slow and ease into it. It's all a learning experience; we were all there once.

I played Bronze for about 3 weeks before I tried Silver it wasn't at difficult as I though it would be, but I had played fbwgg about 10 times before so Silver didn't feel that hard.
Now the jump from Silver to a true gold match was nerve-wracking, everything killed me and I didn't know what to do, but after about 2 or 3 matches I did fine.
The main thing to do in Silver/Gold is stick to your team do that and you'll be fine.

Also play with your best class or the one you have the most fun with, as long as your having fun and not feeling frustrated you'll be fine.

I dunno...maybe a week to two weeks. After the first week of playing Bronze with my friends, I remember being bored on a day off and deciding to play a public match. Two of the guys in the lobby were friends and decided to open the other two slots to the public. I joined, along with a guy who had been playing a few Gold matches here and there.

We did so well on Bronze that the leader suggested we go on to Silver. Everybody was up for it, and I didn't wanna sound like a p*ssy, so I readied up. We played a couple hours worth of Silver, and I did a lot better than I thought I would.

After that, when I'd play Bronze with my group, I started realizing more and more that it was mainly a comfort sorta thing. Our skills had advanced beyond Bronze, but we were comfortable with that level of challenge.

Too comfortable.

We were sorta stagnating on Bronze, basically.

I started doing more public matches on Silver, and met another guy who was added to our group of friends. Eventually, our whole group transitioned to Silver. Took maybe another week to a week and a half.

Then, we started making forays into Gold. At fist, just for Gold specific goals for weekend objectives. Then, for the credits. Then for the Achievement. Then, just because.

Never in the full game, I started playing in Silver and the same day I went to gold when for my first Spectre Pack I recieved a Claymore.

Then I used it with my Asari Vanguard since that day.

I played bronze only the first days of the Demo, then I jumped to gold without touch silver.

I play bronze couple of times sometimes to........ i don't know, bother?

After about ten parties I go to silver, to test even if I was loosing half the Bronze, and I saw "better players and I was not at the bottom score so I continue to about 80 or 100 N7 and next I Found a french Mumble and very nice people who explained to me how to play better and have better builds, after a few Silver I began gold and never stop.

I realised after begining Silver that there's a lot of really bad players who stayed in Bronze . Silver give me challenges and make me improve myself, So I was loosing a bit more but earn much more money so I bought more packages so I recieve better weapons and so I make more damages.

If you know the maps and are finishing tops on the scoreboard without dieing a lot or using consumables, you are ready to move up.

About a week playing Bronze, then I did the first MP challenge (it was Reaper Silver); felt like an almost insurmountable challenge back then. Was awesome when I first beat it with a team (PUG).

Silver is too easy for me now (as are Gold PUGs with certain classes).

I bob back and forth between silver and bronze. Most often extract on silver but there are always tough spots (hack circle and extraction) Group dynamic is huge as to whether silver is comfortable or painful.

If you feel bronze is no longer a challenge and you are able to extract the majority of the time then you are ready for silver. Assuming that you pull your weight in the bronze challenges.

As for score, don't worry too much about it. Teamwork is key. Too often you get people that try to solo and don't work towards objectives in the objective rounds (3,6,10) get higher scores because they focus on killing enemies the whole round. Those that try to focus on getting the objective done get lower scores as killing enemies is really only done when they get directly in the way or after objectives are done.

Something else, I give a lot of credit to these forums, I have learned so much. I thought I should have a handle on MP because I have played ME1, 2 & 3 so many times, boy I didn't know what I didn't know.

People here share their experiences and opinions freely, I use it like an educational refresher course, take what works for you and leave the rest behind, what works well for me may not work well for someone else. You will see this in gameplay, I see people rock the Krogan far beyond what I can do, there is a fellow in my friends that runs the Drell, OMG look out phantom:) some run Geth etc. It's all about finding what works for you and running with it.

That being said we all have to challenge ourselves, you know I probably haven't used 80% of my weapons because I was in a comfort zone, I decided on the weekend that was not acceptable and started trying new ones, some work, some are good and some have downright shocked me, like the Geth shotgun.

Perhaps, so that readers have an idea, what character do you like (maybe 2 or 3), what weapons do you feel comfortable with, do you have questions about a certain enemy or map? Answers will provide some insight and someone might say, Hey you should try the xxx on your avenger it will xxxx, I do that sometimes to friends in games, we all learn from each other, we grow and we concur.

i went straight to gold after my inital bronze gameplay.

i should mention tho, that i only soloed bronze untill i joined my first gold match in FBW/G/G. i came in second on the score by 10k or so. second match i got first score.

when i say i only soloed bronze.. i mean that i did private games but didnt invite anyone, playing completly alone in bronze untill i was good enough to solo matches around when i was N7 130 or so.

i know there are some people who get excited about their first bronze solo, usually late into their ME3MP expierence, but to me being able to solo bronze is just a tiny step to being able to play Gold in a compentant way.

I transitioned from Bronze to Silver once I got a good weapon that I liked and could use really effectively (in my case, the Carnifex).  But other than that, I would have to agree with most of the posters - your score doesn't mean anything.  Move up to Silver and practice staying with the team more.  This is the biggest thing to get used to, because you can excel in Bronze without ever really paying any attention to your teammates, and you can develop bad habits because of it.  Honestly, if everyone would stick together as a team on Silver (or at least in 2 groups of 2), it would be a cakewalk even for average players.

I played bronze FOREVER... every time I played Silver, my team would get destroyed by the 4th or 5th round.
Eventually, I played with some new people and realized that I wasn't THAT bad. I've been playing gold almost exclusively for the last 2 weeks and having been doing OK... depending on the the reliability of my teammates.

Since day 1, but only with char with lvl 16-19. (have yet to play with a level 20).

I played the demo a ton, so I had a rough understanding of the game, and I got my copy of the game 2 weeks and a half later, so enough people had understanding of the game.

Now I don't play bronze unless is with a class I am not used to play or has no dodge

left bronze in the dust during the demo, started in silver, mostly stay there if i'm just messing around

if i'm grinding creds or playing with competent teammates we'll bump it up to gold so there's enough enemies for everyone.
