Cause if so I have yet to find it the ascension project and kahlee sanders is brought up in me2 during project overload And I believe we encounter sanders on grissom academy is their any sequence that takes place or explains about the events that took place in the previous book before me3 like how nick donahue died or how gillian died or the fake ransome that the illusive man pulled to free kai leng from the biotic underground and also is aria also pissed off at kai leng for him killing her daughter liselle wouldn't she keep trying to find ways to kill kai leng and be pissed off at him for what he has done besides cerberus taking over omega?

No reference. Maybe that few details at the end about "army of Graysons" (husk Cerberus) and Kai Lengs upgrade. Just another proof that Dietz was working alone and one or botth sides (Dietz - BW) wasn't interested in closer connection ME3 and book,

They talk about Paul Grayson a few times, but other than that, not really.

That was reference to Retribution, which was still connected with game (Graysons transfomration, Anderson resignation, dr. Nuri research).

Oh. Well, I guess Bioware was simply too embarrased with Deception then. With good reason.JamesFaith wrote...

The story itself wasn't THAT bad, but there was just sooo many errors. It ruined the book for me.LiarasShield wrote...

Deception was fine to read, but I wouldn't call it anywhere near even good. It felt totally out of place with the rest of the series.

Only one - Anderson mentions he met Kai Leng on Omega and he was even dangerous since their first meeting.

Even as someone from non-English speaking country I recognised that stylistic part of book was bad. (using word pee with asssassin, really?)
Lore was tragedy and Dietz definitely didn't study it. Basic info about races were wrong (Batarians having embassy on Citadel or Quarians are reffered by name of their ship, not by their name, which is really funny because Dietz about five times explaining what Quarians name means). He also made contradictions with previous books (dead chief of secuity on Quarian ship is suddenly alive or arrival on Omega is introduce by sentence Hendel never was on Omega..., but Hendel was there whole three chpaters in second book).
Characters... well, if someone will make award for the most twisted character, Dietz is winner. Autistic girl grew up from autism, proud soldiers is suddenly agressive drunk threating everyone with gun...
And story itself? There is few good pieces, but it was constructed on nonsensical premises. Band of forty biotics want overthrow Council and everyone seeing threat in them. TIM want kill girl, for which biotic training spent millions, because this girl without resources said she want to kill him. Terrorists thinking that TIM personaly give them ransom. And more and more....

Bioware said they were going to 're-release' it with 'fixes'...
But I doubt they're do that, waste of money really.

Well the part on the illusive man was actually kinda brilliant cause I could see the illusive man pulling that exact same stragety if he really wanted to save someone or still require their usefulness
