Last match I was able to cryo freeze a hunter fully and he dropped on the ground helpless and lol and behold, he managed to shot his shotgun killing me while froozen (and it was the last mob on the field to)
Rocket launchers: Love how they can insta-shoot their rockets at you, even better when they manage to send a sencond rocket at you in less than a second.
Primes: Love them when they raise their arms summoning a turrent but you don't know where they summoned them, until you realize it's behind you dropping your shields or killing you in a matter of seconds.

Just today, I had one of those jolly fellows in front of me who fired three rockets in the space of 1-2 seconds. Luckily he missed and got whacked.
As of now, I have had a few too many run-ins with the tentacle-heads' magnet-hands, once of the sort where she manages to drag you to her from several meters away.
Then again, all three factions are able to charge their hax in one way or another, be it surprise-stunlock by a Hunter-squad, lolcorpsecamping space-ninjas and such.

Roopers on glacier gold
Reapers on glacier might be the hardest combo of foes and map because of the small spaces.
This IF you are using a team that relies on guns or things.
not this is you are using a tem with AoE powers and able to create explosions.
Favourite game ever - everyone used incendary ammo. I had inferno grenades and carnage, a few peeps with incinerate and a phoenix adept.
It was non stop fire explosions, Reapers didn't stand a chance.

With...:
-The Hunter stunning and those who sneak in the formation ninja style.
-The Pyro walking around on ballerina shoes and light you on fire without any noise until is too late
-The Rocket troopers that shoot two heat seeking missiles at the same time
-The Geth Turrets that are trow behind you and often kill you after the wave is finished
-The Prime Sniping from across the map
-The Trooper that as soon the body hits the ground they have the foot on the air to smash the head.
...There is enough of rage to go around.

Cerebus has phantoms with their sniper rifles and damage immunity.
Reapers have idclip banshees and magnagrabs.
Geth has hunters who fire while staggered or stunned, rocket troopers who don't have to reload, pyros with greater range than animated, primes who ignore los while deploying turrets, more ranged staggers than the other races combined, etc.

Gold difficulty in a nutshell:
Cerberus: Fun, quite challenging.
Reapers: Great variety, quick-paced, nice adrenaline pump.
Geth: Buggy, annoying, unfair to the players.
Go figure.
Mmhmm.
Geth.
(By contrast, Reapers/Glacier is one of my favourite matchups.)
