I've hit this before but the last 2 days the matchmaking has been all over. It seems to only vaguely care about the level I pick.

I've been dumped from Silver to Gold a lot and to Bronze a couple of times the last few days. The worst was when my level 1 Sentinel selects Bronze to level up and gets dumped into a match. I'm watching 3 Atlases march down the hall on Dagger and thinking to myself - this doesn't look like Bronze. No, sure enough it is Gold. I thought I must have picked Gold but after the inevitable death I checked settings and sure enough Bronze was my choice.

I find it hard to fathom that there were no free matches on my selected level but I don't think the game should be moving you around levels that way.
