Apparently, every game has to appeal to everyone and be playable and beatable by everyone, even if you're just some 12 year old little dip [dip dip dip dip dip dip dip doo] who just wants to play Co-OP or MP on his XBox. For every game. Every Time.
It's a great time to be a gamer isn't it?

As soon as I saw the enemy can shoot back, I started laughing. There are prettier looking and better handling 3ps to spend time with than this one.
Dead space was such a good series but [I respectfully disagree with EA's choices]

I'm afraid for anything EA gets its hands on.
Pretty much this. More so with its "new direction" annoucements. I really hope they get kicked hard this quarter, and the next, so like THQ has seemed, and to a lesser extent activision, and learn to respect its market a little.

EA Doesn't get it, that they seem do think that they need to sell 5 million of every game to keep it alive.

Seconded. Words cannot express how much I despise EA and its business practices. First Bioware and now Visceral are pandering to stupid kids who want more pew pew pew thanks to the foul influence of EA.

Not really, I have no intention of playing the game, still haven't touched the previous ones. I don't get any kind of enjoyment out of this kind of games, unless I am watching a friend play them.
Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Hmm I was wondering why V and a few others that worked with THQ had vanished as of late. So house cleaning. Thats good more so with all the cash THQ has on hand now thanks to SRTT. It might actully rise again.

DS2 had no scary ambiences for me, except the return to the Ishimura part thats all.
From the trailers for DS 3, it was just a non-stop gun porn fest, DS 1 and 2 had more scares in their trailers.

If they've spent so much money on the marketing and multiplayer, then they don't just seem to think, they know they need to sell 5 million copiesiggy4566 wrote...

EA treats its games as nothing more than a publisher's glorified slot machine. Throw more and more money at the project with the aim of getting as many customers as you can, reap the profits. Screw the content, there's gambling to do!
Game doesn't return enough money? Too bad, so sad, let's use the immediate solution and kick out half the development staff. Spending money wisely during our next project is just too much work!
