I sure am like Co-op and combat rolls and cover and fighting human foes what the [Tupac] is this [orangutan] ?! And ya gotta love how EA says that well we want Dead Space to apeal to more folk and we don't want to ****** off fans but hold on ya don't want to ****** off fans yet ya put [clowns] no one wants wheres the logic? Dead space is a horror game not a dudebro shooter  EA just doesn't get it  ya don't make a [twirl]ing horror game apeal to a larger group ya make it for HORROR FANS.  Anyway folk please speak your thoughts.

Didn't you hear the news?

Apparently, every game has to appeal to everyone and be playable and beatable by everyone, even if you're just some 12 year old little dip [dip dip dip dip dip dip dip doo] who just wants to play Co-OP or MP on his XBox. For every game. Every Time.

It's a great time to be a gamer isn't it?

As soon as I saw the enemy can shoot back, I started laughing. There are prettier looking and better handling 3ps to spend time with than this one.

Dead space was such a good series but [I respectfully disagree with EA's choices]

Pretty much this. More so with its "new direction" annoucements. I really hope they get kicked hard this quarter, and the next, so like THQ has seemed, and to a lesser extent activision, and learn to respect its market a little.

EA Doesn't get it, that they seem do think that they need to sell 5 million of every game to keep it alive.

Yeah, I can't see myself enjoying Dead Space 3 at all. A shame really, Dead Space had so much potential.

Seconded. Words cannot express how much I despise EA and its business practices. First Bioware and now Visceral are pandering to stupid kids who want more pew pew pew thanks to the foul influence of EA.

Dead Space doesn't scare me at all. If I see any and it starts to make me nervous, I just move the furniture around to cover it up.

Not really, I have no intention of playing the game, still haven't touched the previous ones. I don't get any kind of enjoyment out of this kind of games, unless I am watching a friend play them. :P

Hmm I was wondering why V and a few others that worked with THQ had vanished as of late. So house cleaning. Thats good more so with all the cash THQ has on hand now thanks to SRTT. It might actully rise again.

Yes i am afraid for DS 3. While DS 1 was not scary to me, the atmosphere was great and so were the sound effects.

DS2 had no scary ambiences for me, except the return to the Ishimura part thats all.

From the trailers for DS 3, it was just a non-stop gun porn fest, DS 1 and 2 had more scares in their trailers.

If they've spent so much money on the marketing and multiplayer, then they don't just seem to think, they know they need to sell 5 million copies

EA treats its games as nothing more than a publisher's glorified slot machine. Throw more and more money at the project with the aim of getting as many customers as you can, reap the profits. Screw the content, there's gambling to do!

Game doesn't return enough money? Too bad, so sad, let's use the immediate solution and kick out half the development staff. Spending money wisely during our next project is just too much work!

This is a reminder that we can express our dislike or disagreement with something or someone without resorting to swearing or name-calling. Outright bashing of companies--any company--is similarly discouraged.
