I can understand the black marker causing infections because it might be coated in the virus, but how in the heck are man made copies able to produce the necromorph mutagen from symbols?
Well didn't they Copy it almost?

Almost, but the Earthgov couldn't replicate the material of the black marker due to it being made of some unknown element, so they resorted to elements like bismuth.iggy4566 wrote...

I am. It looks like a generic 3PS now. Having poor control mechanics can make a horror game scarier. It makes you have to be innovative and clever in order to survive. That was like the whole premise of Dead Space. That you couldn't do what any generic Space marine would do. You were at a disadvantage, and what you were fighting for your life from were horrendous creatures. It just looks like they are losing a lot of that by "updating" the controls and adding things like a co-op campaign. I've never played a co-op game that was scary. Having another person makes it fun, not frightening, and while games should be fun, this is a horror game. Or at least it's supposed to be.

No. Mostly because I won't play it. Amnesia is much better as a horror game.

Yes, becuse it is actually a survival horror game, while Dead Space is action horror. Dead Space is just Space Resident Evil.

"A Visceral Games developer has confirmed it was "always intended to have co-op in Dead Space" and cites that one of their inspirations and role models, System Shock 2, also had co-op support. He also pointed out that if the player chooses to play alone, John Carver "may appear at some points (as do other NPCs) but for the most part he is not there."
Unlike in its predecessors, in Dead Space 3 player characters Isaac Clarke and John Carver will be able to roll and take cover to avoid attacks. The new ability to dodge was described by a Visceral Games developer as essential, as it "felt dumb/terrible not to have it" and that they have been "making Isaac more responsive", as they "want the horror to come from the terrible things that happen in the game; not from the horror that something is moving slowly towards you and you can't shoot it because the game controls like a piece of crap". The cover system is also described as 'organic' in nature, as the player does not need to "walk up to certain tagged things and press the cover button; Isaac or Carver just does the action that is appropriate for the given situation"
That came from a developer apparently. All I have to say is that their outlook is pretty pathetic.

- Enemies that shoot you with guns.
- ME/Gow Cover system integrated.
- Universal ammo
- Multiplayer forced into single player to get 'the full story'.
- Barely anything seen on necromorphs at all at the moment.
- Needs 5 million sales to survive, by EA's standards immediate sales.
Nah I'm not worried. I'm just going to sit here with a bag of popcorn and watch as yet another of EA's franchises burns to the ground as EA cries and whines and blames it on their consumers yet again.
