That would be funny if it weren't so sad.

We need a picture of that Bioware getting shot by father EA, just replace Bioware with Visceral games and add Bioware to the corpse pile.

LOL sad but true. If they need 5 million sales to be profitible, i think viscreal can be added to that picture

Seriously? 5 million? They might as well cancel Dead Space 3 now, they are not going to achieve that.

Just learned this will be released in February - haven't played DS1 or 2, but the description of the co-op sounds interesting.

each player will have alternate experiences as a result of their characters' dementia. For example, the player controlling John Carver will find toy soldiers in a biology facility, while the player controlling Isaac will not see them. Another example is more action-based, when Carver becomes trapped in his own mind, forcing Isaac to protect him from a sudden surge of Necromorphs until Carver can free himself.

Anyone know if the PC version will be Origin exclusive?

It's the FEAR 3 syndrome, ohj my mistake it spelt F3AR:lol:
And I'm sick of people saying it's a survival horror game. It is not and will never be neither survival or horror.  Survival horror is atmospheric and makes you feel really vulnerable and you have very limited resources. Dead Space on the other  hand is like Doom best comparison i can make. OMG, that monster jumped out of the vent how frightful. Not that I hated the game, it was fun but I hate how people put it up with the likes of Silent Hill 2 and Amnesia.

Doom 3, perhaps. The original Doom and it's sequel were very upfront about enemy attacks instead of trying to spook you. I was never genuinely scared during Dead Space.

As for Dead Space 3, all this winter weather and giant monsters, it may be resembling the original Lost Planet title from Capcom. I'm not particularly excited for the Dead Space 3.

I used to be mad about Dead Space, then I realized, Dead Space wasn't ever really that scary, Startleing? yes, Scary, Not Particularly, The Necromorphs desing in themself where probably the scariest part of the game, Along with the Return to the Ishimura Section in Dead Space 2, but all in all, Dead Space suffers from modern horror movie syndrome, which is Jump"scares" which aren't actually scary, and/or far too much gore.
Just my thoughts.

People can't really compare DS to the SH series as the former is action while the latter is survival horror. DS1 showed potential for survival horror as the only features that held it back were the necromorphs dropping supplies, the stores having an unlimited stock, and the lack of backtracking outside of the designated chapters.

DS2 though a fun game was basically a necromorph gauntlet that cranked up the running & gunning, while you're even more armed to the teeth than the first one. Also who compared the series to SH2, and Amnesia?

I haven't really been following Dead Space 3. Is that really true? If so they are totally screwed.

Enjoy it. I'm just stating my opinion of how bad and typical it looks. And the horrendous dialogue...pathetic

Dialogue in Dead Space has always been like that. I am cautious too and am waiting until January when the demo is released but from what I've seen it is going to be great.
