i imagine alistair to be in late twenties- early thirties, leliana early thirties, zevran mid-twenties, morrigan, mid-twenties, oghren early to mid- forties, late thiries to early-forties. depending on what origin, i imagine the warden to be anywhere between early twentis and late thirties. (city elf being youngest, dwarf noble being oldest)

Despite the Human Mage Origin story, I've always viewed my warden as an older gentlemen, late 40's to early 50's. This, of course, contradicts the Mage Origin, but I justify it by imagining my Warden having a really, really delayed Harrowing.
Also, since I romanced Morrigan in my main playthrough, it makes much more sense, at least to me, that if Morrigan were to ever genuinely fall in love with someone, it would be a older, expereienced, clever man. I can't picture Morrigan loving a young brute, bold and reckless and lacking the cunning and wisdom that comes with age. Sure, she'll definitely have sex with such a man, but as for someone like that capturing Morrigan' heart...I don't see that happining.
I feel Morrigan would need someone who can intellectually engage, and perhaps surpass, her. Through her dialog and quests she seems to give the impression that others are, at best, pawns to be used by her, and I can't see someone young breaking down that barrier she has put up. Just look at how she treats Alistar. And I don't think that's fully due to his Templar background, in my view his age has a lot to do with it too.
With my Warden's maxed out Persuasion skill and commanding leadership skills honed due to age, it would be him who would accomplish an impossible task: capture the heart of one who is seemingly heartless. Oh yeah, and destroy the Blight, too.
That's the beauty of Origins though. The interpretation possibilities are endless.
