Does this achievement pan out from game to game or does it have to be done in one playthrough?
Thanks in advance.

either a glitch(sounds unlikely), or there's someplace you have not visited.

I beat the game SEVEN TIMES and I don't have it either , once I even did literally every quest in the game

You clearly have not entered the 123 letter code into the vault found within Ostagar that transports you to a secret location that automatically gives you 10000 XP.

Theres no way in hell it carries over , like I said I've beaten the game 7X and once even did every quest in the game

So I'm assuming it doesn't carry over , in fact I think its officially broken on some % of all the copies of DA:O what system are you playing on?

Is this part of the OC or is it a DLC?  I never saw anything that looked like a vault in or around Ostagar, just the ruins and the Korcari Wilds.

Got it on my first run, too. You just have to be a completionist. Do everything, go everywhere. I don't understand how you can't get this over the course of your first playthrough.

What kind of person are you to throw a personal insult at someone who was asking a legitimate question?  How am I a schmuck simply because I failed to find a hidden area (that is, if it's in the OC and not a DLC which I haven't felt like paying for)?  I'd answer my own questions, but I won't sink to your level.

You must keep an eye open especially in cities there is plenty of small no need to visit houses, you must also read the codex entries there is plenty of quests in those that bring you to new areas.

i got it first playthrough as a warrior on pc.

i did not enter fade at redcliff castle

i missed some other minor rooms etc

i didnt clear al K and D quests

i didnt have wardens keep at that time.

i recieved reward up on entering the top floor for battle with archdemon.

so my guess is, that u need to visist each major area in game., so either u missed a major area or its beyond my help :S

Either DLC breaks the achievement or its a bug some are getting and others are not. I too have had multiple play throughs, have done every sidequest possible and not gotten the achievement either in multiple playthroughs.

So did I. Both DLCs, first run.

How's the percentage of world discovered (forgot the precise name)?

Had it at 98% when arriving at the top.

I got that achievement on my first playthrough. all you have to do... are quests. Be sure and talk to everyone, do everything you can, etc. as soon as it's available. Look for doors, etc. You might have just missed a small room somewhere. I usually keep the tab key pressed all the time.

Also, the intro zones do -not- count towards the achievement.

I'm going to guess that this one might be getting some people stuck.  As far as I can tell, there is a very short window of opportunity to ask Riordan about it, and you have to click the right dialogue option with him when the rest of the conversation with him is just history and lore that is not essential to moving the plot forward.

I had no idea this was there my first playthrough.  And I can imagine that it would have been easy for me to then assume that Riordan had nothing important to say at that time and just stop talking to him completely.

This one and the Blackstone assignment before the father-son thing are the only difference between my first and second playthrough, and I got it on the second, so I'd assume those are the easiest ones to miss.

Indeed, that and the second floor in Kaitlyn's house. If you're not persuasive enough, the kid won't tell you about the sword.
