I noticed in the origin story and through dialogue you get to tell people about your real family, the one outside the tower. Does that ever lead to anything? If I go to the Alienage would my family be there?
Curious I suppose. And if not wouldnt that be a neat addition to the game.
Can mages go home?

that would be pretty cool. I know there is one where you get to meet your family. if you haven't played through it yet, I won't say which it is.

No. No one in the Denerim Alienage will recognize you from earlier (Mage Origin).
