Was anyone else sort of bummed that there wasn't an "origin" quest like there was in ME1? I really wanted to see or at least talk to my FemShep's mom.

I was half expecting Shepard to have dreams/nightmares about events in their lives, that you'd have to play through. Then the kid appeared and ruined my excitement.
Especially with an Akuze Shepard after the mother of all Thresher Maws.
