I've been having trouble with AA on both ME2 and ME3; I used nvidia inspector to force aa, as recent drivers have stopped the control panel override from working.  While most of the game looks good, straight lines on surfaces, block letters, etc. are jagged.  I'm having similar problems in other games as well.  Not a huge deal, but all the edges are a bit annoying.

to illustrate:

Shep looks fine:

Any suggestions?

You should post 1080p screenshots, we can't see anything at 800x450

In my experience, having perfectly non-jagged lines is possible but the performance cost is too high IMO (especially when couple with other stuff like shadows).

If I were you I'd a try a different anti-aliasing method : lower AA and higher transparency. I'm running 2x multisampling + 2x Sparse Grid Supersampling and I'm quite happy with the result.
