It's great how there's no response from BioWare about whether or not these lithographs may/may not be in the store later. But hey, that's the usual response.

Hopefully this post will stick. Am having net connections issues here.

Success on preview day. I managed to hit up the Bioware booth right off the bat after the usual hours of lineups for badges and access etc. Got #1 and 100 of the signed 100. There were still some left after the preview night I think but my hands were very full after just 2 hours in the floor. I spoke with Chris Priestly and he mentioned the lithos would only be at the con not the online store. (it is what he said and I assume that is correct).

Anyhow I will be back for the rest of the con and might have a chane to pick up some more. No promises or anything but I will see. Heavens knows I can't grab them for everybody (gotta spend my money else where at the con) but maybe I can get a set more maybe. I'll post back after the con and see what I manage. Sorry if this post is messy or has poor spelling. It has been a loooooong day.

Congrats on the gets, chemgear, most of us are pretty envious of you.

We can only hope that they don't sell very well at the con and thus they are forced to move them at the online store. I can't see them being totally hot sellers there but I don't know if I can see them totally not moving well at all.

How do these lithos compare to the one on the store? Are they more like the Liara "poster" or are they true lithographs to the standard that the BioWare store sets with the paper weight and the inks?

Quickie drive by post - paper seems to be a normal lithograph to me. Size is 18 by 24. Not a mini. No normal character title on bottom so it seems like it margins are smaller and image is larger on The page. I am not sure if that is truly the case though. Not Bioware logo on the bottom but there is an ea and mass effect and dark horse logo on bottom right. Bottom left is the title an artist in white text.

Since this seems to be the best thread to post this... If you, or anyone else at Comic-Con, do manage to pick up a couple extra lithos... I'd really like a chance at one of the Liara lithos. Heck, I've been watching for one on eBay, even though I would prefer not paying quite that much... Unfortunately, I've only seen one so far, and it went faster than I'd expected. ...I actually haven't seen -any- lithographs besides that one...but, of course, since I'm not interested in it, there's at least two or three of the bronze Normandy pieces. Even though there were fewer of them. >>

Hey guys. Finally got a chance to stop for a bit to post. Anyhow I only got a message from Vault101 and Dan Dark and a few for committed interest so I grabbed the sets and an extra Liara respectively. I'll try to message you guys when I am home/have more time.

I will try to pick up some more if I have time and maybe post them on eBay for whomever else wants them outside the con (probably put em at a dollar and let them ride). I didn't want to go too crazy trying to match people up with requests given the lack of time and poor wifi connection as I am not on a US data plan. I also know how the collectors here really like to have super mint lithos that I can't be sure of as I try to pack them, bring them home and pay through customs and then ship them out, etc. Let alone putting them all on my credit card at once; I don't exactly have the infrastructure of the bioware store.

Anyhow no guarantees for anything but I'll at least try to put some of them up so people outside who couldn't make it to con get a chance at them.

Yeah no problem just doing a little bit for the forum. Unfortunately plans for the other set already fell through ( it is okay just a little stressful). Looks like sets are being put up so I guess I'll join just so I can be somewhat sure about selling them. Wanted to keep it in the forum but I understand that plans and interest call fall through I guess.

After seeing what people are listing these for on ebay, Dark Horse must feel pretty stupid for letting them go for $40 each.

Based on this I should've flown to comic con for the weekend, bought some, and flew back. I could probably come out ahead with a profit.

TL;DR - These resellers are tools.

Just one problem: SDCC tickets sell out about 6 months in advance. All tickets are sold online; no walk-ins.

It's a major pain in the ass just to get in.

The prices are about what I expected them to be. A lot of SDCC exclusives this year seem to be more elusive and pricier than previous years.

That being said, 200 or so for them seems pretty bad, but I think they'll probably drop once people realize most aren't going to pay that, because they don't seem worth that. The Garrus one is downright horrible, but luckily the Tali and Liara ones are at least servicable.

Thankfully I'm not too enamored with them, I don't like the branding logos on the art itself and the comic interpretations pale in comparison to the true source art that we get on the Treehouse brand ones. They seem "cheaper", so to speak. 50 would be fair, but anything more is just not worth it.

I've only just found out about these after looking into the Forbidden planet Thessia litho........I can't believe they aren't gonna sell a Liara or Tali litho online....Seems stoooopid to me.

There's no way on earth I'm gonna pay the exorbitant price on ebay for these either...The only full set on there at the moment is up for over $1000...Yeah right??!

A heads up for every one. The Vancuver and Thessia lithographs are going to be on sale Friday the 20th for the double set at the bioware store.

No idea on prices or sizes though....

Well, I just received my set. God I hope they're not damaged. Wish me luck. I'll update once I rip in to the package.

Luckily, they're all in tip top shape:










The overall quality is superb as well. They're at least as well made as any Bioware store litho. I do love the art as well. They're all very colorful and compliment each other really well. I'm so glad to have this set, and even happier to have scooped them up before prices shot up to the ridiculous amounts they're commanding now.
