The tube was not crushed, only the lithos were damaged. I have to believe that whoever packed them simply did not care and just jammed them in there any old way. On top of that, the person jammed larged wads of craft paper on either end of the tube, after the lithos had been jammed in there. Presumably the paper wads were put in either end to serve as a sort of padding to protect the lithos. Ironically, however, the wads only did further damage. What do you think happes when you shove large wads of paper directly at the edges of the lithos? Yeah, you get the point. This actually leads me to my next point: They roll the lithos on sheets of craft paper, but the craft paper is exactly the same size as the lithos themselves. This is completely stupid because it still leaves the edges of the lithos completely exposed. The craft paper should be much wider than the lithos, and the litho should be set perfectly centered on the craft paper. The wider craft paper acts as a safety measure itself and eliminates the need to jam wads of paper. The wide craft paper ends absord any shock and prevent the lithos from rattling around. I hope you all understand what I'm saying.Daveros wrote...
I'm getting less and less enthralled by the shipping warehouse every day.
Was the tube crushed, or just the lithos?

I felt pretty afraid after seeing Vault's litho pics of it being packed in pretty carelessly, and I have to say, this seems to have been a poor packaging affair as well:

I was really worried at that corner, but lucky on me, it was the only defect on the print.

Sorry for the other stuff in the pic, I had to reach out quick for something to pin it down, it was freshly taken from the tube after that.

Detailed pic of the corner damage. Not good, but it shouldn't be visible in the frame. I'm actually grateful it's just that minor. Not too bad.
I am glad I didn't order more than one print, because I am certain they would have just shoved them all in the same tube, which is an atrocious act in itself.
I was hoping the shirt I ordered would have made them ship both things in one bigger box, so thus limiting the chance of litho damage, but the shirt and poster tube arrived separately.
Overall, it's a really good print, much better than I expected. It's beautiful and quite vibrant. People that ordered definitely won't be disappointed, unless your arrives damaged that is.
But, to close this out, here's an optimistic picture of it in pretty great shape, all things considered:

They absolutely have to take better care of these, the thick tube was a step in the right direction, but learn how to roll them, please.

Rolled... I meant rolled lol
If they roll properly and pack it right, there should never be any problems with damaged lithos if the tube is sturdy enough.
I would be worried if I ordered a full set though if they seriously just rolled them to where they aren't a tight roll with a lot of room to move in there.

Cross your fingers that your lithos arrive in good shape everyone!
You also now know that of the 300 Tali's, at least two (my damaged copies) are now destroyed; and at least one Garrus is now destroyed. They're gone forever.

Had a crease in the upper white border. Funny enough it was not on the side they decided to just shove paper into so the litho wouldn't slide around the tube. Not really pleased with how this one was packaged and this is the first litho I have ever gotten with damage like this. I would post pictures but I can't find my camera.
Other than that the Liara litho really does look AMAZING in person.

I'm glad yours came in at least quality condition. I say we got lucky to have ours how we got it considering how others have received theirs.
I do agree, this litho is one of my favorites out of all of them ever released. The art itself and color really look great.
I took a picture of her in a frame, it's a black frame with a silver trim that I think blends nice with the image.

Make sure there absolutely no water/steam in it. And that the temperature is low. Iron on the reverse side naturally.
